Avengers: Doomsday’s Epic Opening Teased: ‘People Are Gonna Lose Their Minds’

It appears Marvel Studios is planning a fast-paced and action-packed start for their upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday.

John Campea believes Marvel’s upcoming film, Doomsday, will be their most ambitious project yet. He shared on his YouTube show that the movie will feature a significantly larger and more extensive amount of action than any previous Marvel film.

MCU fans are not ready for Avengers: Doomsday’s epic opening

According to Campea, the best openings in comic book movies are in X-Men 2, featuring Nightcrawler’s attack on the White House, and Batman v Superman, which begins with Bruce Wayne witnessing the destruction of Gotham during the fight between Zod and Superman. He believes these are the two most impactful starts to any comic book film.

The YouTuber added that everything hinges on how well it’s done, predicting the beginning of ‘Doomsday’ will be even more impressive than previous releases and really excite viewers.

Marvel Studios is keeping details about the new Avengers movie, ‘Doomsday,’ tightly under wraps. They’ve only revealed one major cast member and released four short preview trailers. While many questions remain about the film, some fans think these trailers contain hidden clues.

The ‘Doomsday’ event will begin 14 months after the ‘Thunderbolts’ storyline. It will feature a team-up of Earth’s heroes – including the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and X-Men – as they battle Doctor Doom.

Robert Downey Jr. is set to play Doctor Doom (Victor Von Doom) in the upcoming film Doomsday, and will continue the role in its sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars. There are also rumors suggesting he will return as his iconic character, Tony Stark/Iron Man, in the same movie.

All will be revealed when Avengers: Doomsday is released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
