Jake Pavelka has officially landed the one.
Jake Pavelka, who first appeared on The Bachelor in 2010 and proposed to Vienna Girardi (though they broke up after only three months), recently married Aimee, whom he met on a dating app two years ago.
Honestly, I nearly fainted when I read that Jake said he wasn’t even sure about marriage, and then Aimee came along! It’s just… everything! He said it doesn’t even feel real, like a dream. And the best part? He said she’s his best friend and he gets to spend his life with her! I’m not crying, you’re crying! It’s just… perfect. I knew they were meant to be!
Jake, 48, and Aimee, 41, met on Bumble in 2024 and had a six-hour-long first date. Despite that lengthy first meeting, they chose to have a small, intimate wedding outdoors in Santa Barbara, California. Jake described wanting the wedding to feel relaxed and cozy, like a get-together in their own home.
For her part, Aimee wanted their big day to be focused on the extraordinary bond, too.
The bride described her husband, Jake, as someone who can make everyday moments feel truly magical. She expressed her excitement about building a life together, creating lasting memories, and growing as a couple through all the years to come.
She mentioned the couple, who are based in Dallas, specifically chose to work with local businesses, such as the wedding band Radio Prophets from California.
Aimee explained that, because Jake is an entrepreneur and her family runs small businesses, supporting this cause felt like a fitting way to honor the values they both share.
Oh my gosh, can you believe it’s already been a whole year since Jake and Aimee got engaged?! I was SO thrilled when I heard! It happened after a night out at Drake’s Hollywood – seriously, how cute is that?! – not too far from where they live in Texas. I’ve been following their love story since day one, and I’m completely obsessed with them!
In a February interview with People, Jake reminisced about a wonderful dinner filled with laughter and champagne.

We took an Uber home, and I’d decorated with rose petals and a candlelit table. When she walked in, she was completely surprised! She actually thought someone had broken in, and was confused about how the candles were lit.
He explained that when she turned around, he was kneeling with a beautiful ring and asked her to marry him. She was surprised and quietly said yes. He described it as a sweet, private moment, and he was glad he’d kept the proposal intimate, saying it was truly special.
Jake announced his engagement with a romantic beachside photoshoot on Instagram for Valentine’s Day, sharing that he’s marrying his best friend and ‘the most beautiful woman in the world.’ Wondering what happened with other couples from The Bachelor? Here’s an update on where they are now…
Oh my god, when we finally got back to the apartment in the Uber, I’d been working on it all day! I had rose petals everywhere and the table was all set with candles, you know, for her. She walked in and was totally confused, like, ‘What is going on? Did someone break in?’ It was so cute! She was just staring at the table, trying to figure out how the candles even got lit. I was dying, it was perfect!
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! He actually did it! He turned around and there he was, down on one knee with the most gorgeous ring I’ve ever seen! He asked her to marry him, and she just… gasped! Then she quietly said yes. It was so perfect, so them – really sweet and private. He was so right to keep it just between them. It was a moment I wish I could’ve witnessed, honestly – absolutely magical!
Jake and his fiancée announced their engagement on Valentine’s Day with a beachside photoshoot on Instagram. Jake shared the news with a caption declaring she is both the most beautiful woman in the world and his best friend.

Status: Dating
Before The Golden Bachelor even started airing, Mel Owen faced some criticism. He appeared on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen and stated he wouldn’t pursue women over 60, and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.
Although his long-time partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of spark. The retired NFL linebacker described her to Glamour as someone with a lot of energy.
Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athlete—who is also a lawyer—presented his partner with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining, “This symbolizes our dedication to each other and our willingness to work together to build our future.”

Status: Engaged
Spencer Conley, known for his charming personality on The Bachelorette (which caught the eye of Jenn Tran), found a connection on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. In August 2025, he shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to win the heart of Joey Graziadei on The Bachelor) hinting that they were falling for each other—a common way of saying they weren’t quite ready to say “I love you”—and playfully declared he’d “already won.”
I’m totally getting the same vibes as Jess! She posted on her page that she’s feeling really happy and excited about this guy, and honestly, same here!
They were overjoyed! After deciding their relationship was more important than the $250,000 prize, they got engaged and were then surprised with a check for $190,000.
“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”
Their relationship brought Jess to Dallas. She shared during Mel’s “After the Finale Rose” special in November 2025 that she would be moving to Texas within a few weeks.

Status: Dating
Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had – but it might also be their last. The social media manager, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and the real estate investor, who almost won the heart of Jenn on The Bachelorette, managed to overcome their biggest fight yet when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about letting Susie Evans go.
Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Although they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show finished filming. They’ve even met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city!
In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

Status: Dating
It looks like things are still going well for Andrew Spencer, from Katie Thurston’s season of Paradise, and Alexe Godin, who appeared on Grant’s season. Six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “love” on Instagram in August 2025, she returned the sweet sentiment, calling him her “darling” in a post of her own.
I was so thrilled to see them pick love over the money on the BiP finale! And honestly, it was still a fantastic outcome – they each got to go home with $125,000, which is amazing. It just proved they were there for the right reasons!
Alexe exclaimed, “This is incredible!” She continued, “I’m leaving with more than just money—I’m leaving with love, and that’s what truly matters.”
The show will feature Alexe’s exciting news: she’s moving to Chicago with Andrew, and they’re taking their relationship to the Windy City.
In September 2025, she shared on Instagram that she’d met someone who was just as quirky as she was, and she was excited to build a life with them.

Status: Split
During the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, a tense situation arose when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat Izzo had hidden a laptop and was secretly communicating with an ex-boyfriend through letters. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, firmly denied contacting him while on the show.
She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone else.
Although Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final test on Paradise, their relationship continued to grow. The show revealed that the two—Kat, who was on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, who was on Clare Crawley’s—traveled around the U.S. together and are planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.
Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
But their journey came to a close in early 2026.
I was chatting with Kat recently, and she shared something interesting. During her time on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, she mentioned that one of the sticking points with her potential partners was their reluctance to move to New York City. It seems location is really important to her!
She said he didn’t see a future for his career in San Diego. She admitted she never fully understood his reasons for leaving, and wasn’t sure what motivated his decision.

Status: Just friends—for now
After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed to have a promising future together, even sharing a hopeful video on social media about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.
Oh my gosh, you guys, she said they talk constantly! Like, all the time! And she was on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025 and just gushed about Gary. She actually said he’s one of her best friends, which, I KNEW IT! She literally calls him whenever she’s having a hard time, and he helps her calm down. They seriously always have each other’s backs, it’s just the sweetest thing ever! I’m telling you, they’re meant to be!
I’ve been following their story, and even though they’re long-distance – she’s in Minnesota and he’s all the way in California – I truly believe they can make it work. She’s said that, for her, the most important thing in any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a strong friendship first. She wants to grow old with her best friend, and honestly, that’s so beautiful to me. It gives me hope that they’ll prioritize that connection and find a way to make it last.

Status: Just friends
Kim Buike, a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, has found love with Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Paradise, the pair are still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date with her in Washington.
In the end, they realized they were better suited as friends than as a couple.
In a September 2025 Instagram video, Faith explained that she and someone else talk about two or three times a week, even though they live five and a half hours apart. She clarified they’re not in a romantic relationship, and never were. They simply had a good connection while filming a show.

Grant initially connected with 25 women on The Bachelor, but ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa. Sadly, the couple broke up less than three months after their proposal was shown on television.
Okay, this is tough to share, but I want to be real with you all. Juliana and I have decided to go our separate ways. We truly gave it our all and cared deeply for each other, but after a lot of honest conversations, we realized we’re just not the best match for the long run. It’s sad, but we both feel it’s the right decision.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turner’s season and then leading the first season of The Golden Bachelorette, she accepted a proposal from contestant Chock Chapple.
During the November 2024 finale of The Golden Bachelorette, Joan shared a hopeful message: ‘We’re proof that even at our age, there’s always hope, no matter what challenges life brings.’ Just before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, ‘I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you that I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you—waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’
Even though they’re currently in a long-distance relationship, they’re gradually starting to plan their future together.
Joan explained in an Instagram Q&A that they’re planning their wedding for 2027 because their children are also starting to plan their own weddings. She said they want to avoid having their wedding at the same time as their kids’ weddings.

During the finale of The Bachelorette season 21, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with Devin Strader. However, Jenn later shared during the After the Final Rose episode in September 2024 that Devin abruptly became distant once filming concluded.
Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed were suddenly gone.
The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind their breakup, which he had originally discussed in a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn said he ended their relationship over the phone in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers while he was trying to tell her in person.
He said he’d been wanting to tell her face-to-face, but she pushed him to reveal it sooner than he planned. He felt like he had no other choice.
Jenn then met Sasha Farber while competing on Dancing With the Stars, and they became partners both on and off the dance floor. Although they were eliminated from the show in October 2024, they continued dancing together for a while before ultimately splitting up in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, began dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg shared in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before revealing their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo had already broken up with their respective costars. Victoria had ended her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor and were married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest talks about their relationship and living arrangements. During an appearance on Good Morning America in April 2024, Gerry announced that they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he had started dating someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson in March 2024. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” before asking her to marry him. Joey shared that Kelsey’s positive energy made him incredibly happy, a feeling he’d never experienced before. He confessed that meeting her showed him just how wonderful his life could be.

As a lifestyle expert, I always keep an eye on the relationships that blossom (and sometimes fizzle!) on shows like Bachelor in Paradise. This season, it was really sweet to watch underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat connect. They didn’t hit it off immediately, but eventually, John Henry took a leap of faith – literally! He proposed with a beautiful Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. Just days after the finale, they announced their split, explaining that their career goals were ultimately too different. They did emphasize they were thankful for all the support they received, which is always a classy move. It’s a reminder that even when things don’t work out, ending with grace is key.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite feeling anxious about finding love again after her time on Paradise, she said yes to a proposal from Aaron Bryant on the beach. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing before popping the question.
However, the couple revealed they’ve decided to end their engagement just days after returning from Mexico. They announced the split in December 2023, stating they are parting ways amicably with positivity and respect for each other. Aaron shared on Instagram that watching their journey unfold was emotionally challenging.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that her boyfriend, Aven Jones, hadn’t proposed in the traditional way—something he reportedly considered doing on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia—Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work on Paradise. Although she had already picked out an engagement dress, she felt it was the right decision, stating, “Love is all about taking risks.” Sadly, just two days after the show aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, admitting he had made significant mistakes and hurt Kylee.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but that was an understatement of the romantic finale. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to marry him and make their relationship a lasting reality.
Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity won’t be slowing down. Dotun surprised her on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose with exciting news: she’ll be competing on Dancing With the Stars! He knew how much she loves to dance and said he was thrilled to share the opportunity with her.

Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are happily married! Despite some challenges during the Fantasy Suites portion of season 27, Zach proposed to Kaity in March 2023, telling her, “I am so in love with you,” and declaring she was his world. In July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, announced they had taken their relationship a step further by becoming roommates.
Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally planned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she explained on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection, rather than getting caught up in the details.
However, one thing especially impressed her. The aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they had their wedding. Kaity explained, “It was exactly what we wanted.”

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced loss, and Michael is a single dad raising his young son James – the pair split after about a year of Danielle moving to Ohio to be with him. Michael explained on a podcast that while they cared for each other, they weren’t compatible in the long term, and he’s grieving the loss of the future they had planned.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. However, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in May 2023. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that trying to make their relationship work had been very difficult with so much public attention. They shared that they were both heartbroken and asked for privacy and kindness.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the Viall Files podcast that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he doesn’t excuse what he did, that it was unfair to Rachel, and that he still feels ashamed and wishes he could have handled things differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which played out on The Bachelor in 2022, had a complicated ending. After Susie initially turned Clayton down in the finale, they briefly reconciled off-camera, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie has explained that while they shared happy times, she wasn’t truly happy and felt she wasn’t living her best life. She shared in a blog post that those close to her noticed she seemed less vibrant and wasn’t thriving.
Susie then dated Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, accepted a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, realizing they weren’t a good long-term match. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that their relationship was filled with conflict and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake. Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they became engaged the following year, marrying in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were excited about a future for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, imagining cozy Sundays together. However, the couple from Bachelor in Paradise season seven only lasted a few months.
In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a former suitor on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced their split. They explained that they had hoped for a different outcome, but both needed to focus on personal growth.

Status: Split
The first same-sex couple to find love on Bachelor in Paradise got engaged during season six, but they sadly announced their breakup in 2019 on Halloween.
We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and doing what’s best for both of us has always been our main focus. With love and sadness, we’ve decided to take a break and focus on ourselves for now. We believe this is the best path forward for our individual growth and overall well-being, even though it’s difficult.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. The couple, who first competed for the hearts of Tayshia Adams and Matt James respectively, initially lived in San Diego before recently buying a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, joking they were entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era.’ Before the move, Noah proposed to Abigail in San Diego in August 2023, and they’re now planning their wedding!

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first connected on reality TV, secretly tied the knot in October 2022! The couple – Serena was a finalist on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, and Joe, known as ‘Grocery Joe,’ originally appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season – decided to get legally married at City Hall near their home in New York City, about a year after getting engaged on Bachelor in Paradise. They’re still planning a larger wedding celebration for September 2023. Serena, who now co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Joe, shared the news with a playful message: ‘We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!’

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, who first appeared on The Bachelor and captured Matt’s attention, relocated from Maryland to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago to start their life together. Before their November 2023 wedding – a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico – the couple solidified their commitment with matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023. Kenny was previously eliminated by Tayshia Adams during week five of Paradise.

Status: Married
Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They initially broke up during filming but got back together after the show ended.
In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca had proposed. She told TopMob News that she hoped their unconventional approach would inspire others to break tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of the same year. They welcomed their son, Benson, in September 2023, with Becca sharing on Instagram how overwhelmed they were with love for their “tiny man.”
Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a spontaneous wedding ceremony on October 13th.
