Can we steal you for a sec?
With Mel Owens’ season of The Golden Bachelor now finished, we’re happy to share some information about his journey.
During the November 12th finale of the show’s second season, 66-year-old former Los Angeles Rams linebacker found a new partner: retired firefighter and bomb technician Peg Munson.
Once the other finalist, Cindy Cullers, decided to leave because she felt Owen wasn’t fully invested, he asked 62-year-old Munson if she would accept his final rose and a commitment ring.
He said putting the Neil Lane ring on her finger was a sign of their commitment to each other and a promise to work together to build their future.
Munson similarly shared that she’s in no rush to run it back.
The Las Vegas resident explained that they’ve agreed to continue their relationship as partners, not as engaged couple, stating, “We both understand and agree on that.”
Since their lucky win in Antigua, the couple has been happily enjoying this new phase of their lives.
Even though they aren’t planning a wedding, they’ve booked several exciting trips together, including visits to Las Vegas, his hometown in Michigan, and San Francisco to see Super Bowl 2026.
As Peg shared on After the Final Rose, reaching your 60s allows you to create the love story you’ve always wanted, and she and her partner are happily doing just that. She described it as being able to define love on their own terms.
And they’re not alone in learning that reality TV can be the perfect place to fall in love.
Joan Vassos from Golden Bachelorette and her fiancé, Chock Chapple, joined the celebration for Owens and his new partner. Also there were Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley, a couple who found love on Bachelor in Paradise. These are just a few of the many couples from the Bachelor franchise who are still together.
Let’s celebrate the couples who are still deeply in love! It’s time to relax and toast to a lasting future together.

Status: Dating
Before The Golden Bachelor even started airing, Mel Owen faced some criticism. He appeared on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen and stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60, and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.
Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of energy and excitement. The former NFL player described her to Glamour as being incredibly “high-energy.”
Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athlete—who is also a lawyer—presented his partner with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining, “This symbolizes our love and our dedication to building a future together.”

Status: Engaged
As someone who keeps a close eye on the Bachelor Nation, I have to say Spencer Conley really found something special on this season of Bachelor in Paradise! You might remember Spencer – he definitely charmed Jenn Tran with his warm personality on The Bachelorette. Well, he and Jess Edwards (who gave Joey Graziadei a shot on his season) recently shared a sweet post hinting they were falling for each other – you know, that ‘not quite ready to say the L-word’ stage! Spencer even playfully posted on Instagram that he’d ‘already won,’ and honestly, it’s adorable to see them connecting!
Jess echoed the sentiment, posting on social media, “Just really happy about this guy and everything!”
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was screaming when they chose each other over the money! Seriously, $250,000?! But they didn’t care! And then, get this, they got ENGAGED right then and there! As if that wasn’t enough, they surprised them with almost $190,000 anyway! It was the most perfect, romantic thing ever, I’m still getting chills!
“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”
Jess shared during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she’ll be moving to Dallas in a few weeks, as their relationship progresses.

Status: Dating
Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following his appearance on the tenth season of Paradise. However, it might also be their last! The social media manager, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and the real estate investor who almost won over Jenn on The Bachelorette, faced their biggest fight when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.
Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t leave Bachelor in Paradise as a couple, they decided to keep dating after the show ended. They’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city.
In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

Status: Dating
It looks like things are still going strong between Paradise season 10 contestant Andrew Spencer (who competed for Katie Thurston’s heart) and Alexe Godin (from Grant’s season). Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “love” on Instagram in August 2025, she returned the sweet sentiment, calling him her “darling” in a post of her own.
Even though they picked love instead of the $250,000 prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale, they still received $125,000 as a parting gift.
“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, but more importantly, with love.”
The show will feature Alexe and Andrew’s exciting news: they’re moving to Chicago together!
In a September 2025 Instagram post, she happily announced finding someone who shares her unique personality, expressing excitement about building a future together.

Status: Dating
During the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, a conflict arose when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat Izzo had hidden a laptop and was secretly corresponding with an ex-boyfriend through letters. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, firmly denied contacting her ex while on the show.
She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone new.
Despite not making it to the final test on Paradise, Kat and Dale continued dating. The show revealed that the two—Kat, who was on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, who was previously on Clare Crawley’s—traveled the U.S. together and are planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.
Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade their experience for anything.

Status: Just friends—for now
After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed to have a promising future together, even sharing a video about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants a romantic relationship with Gary.
You know, I’ve gotten really close to Gary. I was chatting about it on Bachelor Happy Hour recently, and I can honestly say he’s become one of my best friends. He’s someone I genuinely turn to when I’m having a tough time – he really helps me get grounded and see things clearly. It’s a really supportive friendship; we always have each other’s backs, and I truly value that.
Okay, so distance is definitely a factor – he’s all the way in California and I’m in Minnesota! But I’m not letting that discourage me. Honestly, for me, the foundation of any good relationship, especially a romantic one, is friendship. I truly believe you should want to be best friends with the person you’re with, someone you can grow old with and enjoy life alongside. That’s what I’m looking for.

Status: Just friends
Kim Buike, who was a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, is dating Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner on The Bachelor. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, the couple is still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date in her hometown of Washington.
In the end, they realized they were better suited as friends than as a couple.
Faith shared in a September 2025 Instagram video that she and this person talk about two or three times a week, even though he lives five and a half hours away. She clarified they aren’t in a romantic relationship and never were, but they did have a good connection while filming their show.

Okay, so Grant from The Bachelor… I was obsessed. He seemed to talk to, like, a million women on night one, but I knew, I just knew, Juliana was special! She got the final rose, and I seriously started planning their wedding in my head! But then… heartbreak! They broke up less than three months after the finale aired. I was devastated, honestly. It just didn’t last, and I’m still trying to figure out what happened!
Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t a good match for the future.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turner’s season and then starring in the first season of The Golden Bachelorette, she accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple.
During the November 2024 finale of The Golden Bachelorette, Joan shared a hopeful message: ‘We’re proof that even later in life, there’s always hope.’ Just before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, ‘I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you that I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you – waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’

At the end of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during the After the Final Rose special in September 2024, Jenn shared that Devin distanced himself from her immediately after filming ended.
Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had dramatically declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if nothing had happened and claimed he’d never been in love. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed were suddenly gone.
The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind their breakup, which he’d initially shared during a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers when he was trying to tell her in person.
He said he’d been wanting to tell her face-to-face, but she pushed him to reveal it sooner than he’d planned. He felt like he didn’t have a choice.
Oh my gosh, after The Bachelor, Jenn just completely stole my heart… and Sasha Farber’s, apparently! They were so amazing on Dancing With the Stars, I was obsessed with their chemistry! Even though they were eliminated back in October 2024, they kept dancing together for a while, which was so sweet. Sadly, it didn’t last, and they officially split in 2025. It still breaks my heart!

I was so excited when Greg Grippo and Victoria Fuller got together on the Bachelor in Paradise finale back in November 2022! They seemed really happy, and I truly thought they’d make it work. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. Greg recently shared that they broke up in April 2024, and honestly, I was heartbroken to hear it. It’s a shame things didn’t work out for them.

Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo revealed they were dating after the finale of Bachelor in Paradise season eight, Victoria had broken up with her fellow cast member, Johnny DePhillipo, ending their engagement.

Gerry Nist and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor and were married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. As a result, they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce, as they shared during an appearance on Good Morning America in April 2024.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson in March 2024. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” before asking her to marry him. Joey explained that Kelsey’s positive energy made him incredibly happy, a feeling he’d never experienced before. He shared that meeting her showed him just how wonderful life could be, and he’s excited to build a future with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection on The Bachelor, and Kat Izzo, a contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on Bachelor in Paradise, but their romance didn’t last. Despite a proposal with a Neil Lane diamond, the couple announced their split shortly after the show aired. They explained on Instagram that their differing career ambitions led them to realize they weren’t a good long-term match, but they remained thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans of The Bachelor franchise.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite initial nervousness about finding love again after Paradise, she said yes to a proposal from Aaron Bryant on the beach. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing before popping the question.
However, the couple later announced their split. They revealed they had experienced some difficulties after returning from Mexico, but are ending their engagement with positivity and respect for each other. Aaron shared on Instagram in December 2023 that watching their journey unfold was emotionally challenging.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that her boyfriend, Aven Jones, hadn’t proposed in the traditional way—something he had apparently been ready to do on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia—Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work after Paradise. Although she had a special engagement dress ready, she felt it was the right decision, explaining that love requires taking chances. However, just two days after the show’s finale aired in December 2023, Kylee revealed on Instagram that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, admitting he’d made significant mistakes and hurt Kylee.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but that was an understatement of the romantic finale. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to make their relationship a lasting reality.
Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, saying he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was excited for her to have the opportunity.

Zach Shallcross proposed to Kaity Biggar at the end of season 27 in March 2023, despite some challenges during the Fantasy Suites. He told her, “I am so in love with you. You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.” By July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, had taken their relationship a step further and announced they were now living together.
Kaity and her husband got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered – their love and connection – and felt she was getting too caught up in minor details.
However, one thing especially impressed her. The aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they held their wedding. Kaity explained, “It was exactly what we wanted.”

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced a tragic loss with her fiancé, and Michael is a single dad to his son James – the pair went their separate ways after about a year of Danielle moving to Ohio to be with him. Michael explained on a podcast that while they cared for each other, they weren’t ultimately compatible, and he was grieving the loss of the future they had planned together.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last. Five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in May 2023. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that trying to work through their issues had been difficult with so much public attention. They shared that they were both heartbroken, despite their love for each other, and asked for privacy and kindness.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he feels ashamed and wishes he could have handled the situation differently, adding that it continues to bother him to this day.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which played out on The Bachelor in 2022, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie, a videographer from Los Angeles, has explained that the split was necessary for her own well-being. In a November 2022 blog post, she shared that she wasn’t truly happy and felt like she was losing her spark, despite having some good times with Clayton. She realized she needed to prioritize becoming the best version of herself.
Susie then began dating Justin Glaze, who is known from Bachelor Nation, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, accepted a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, realizing they weren’t a good long-term match. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that their relationship was filled with conflict and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake.
Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they became engaged the following year. They got married in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were excited about a future for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, picturing cozy Sundays together after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise. However, the couple ultimately only spent a few weekends together. In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a former suitor on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced their split, explaining they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t anticipated this outcome.

Status: Split
The first same-sex couple from Bachelor in Paradise got engaged on season six, but they revealed they had broken up in 2019 on Halloween.
It breaks my heart to share, but they just posted a statement saying they’ve decided to separate. They emphasized that their relationship has always been built on love and caring for each other, and that this decision, though difficult, is what’s best for them both. They really want to focus on their individual growth and believe taking a step back is the right thing to do for their future. It’s clear they still care deeply for each other, and it’s just a sad situation.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. The couple, who first competed for the hearts of Tayshia Adams and Matt James respectively, initially lived in San Diego before recently buying a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, saying they were entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era.’ Noah proposed to Abigail in San Diego in August 2023, and they’re now planning their wedding and starting a new chapter together.

As a huge fan, I was so thrilled to see Serena and Joe make things official! You probably remember Joe – he’s the sweet grocery store owner from Becca Kufrin’s season who got sent home early but won everyone over. And Serena was amazing on Matt James’ season. They got engaged on Paradise and, honestly, couldn’t wait to say ‘I do’! They secretly tied the knot at City Hall in October 2022, about a year after getting engaged, and Serena shared the cutest video announcing it. She said they’re still planning a big wedding for September 2023, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice? They’re just the sweetest, and I’m so happy for them both! Now they’re even co-hosting the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast together – it’s adorable!

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, who first appeared on The Bachelor and captured Matt’s attention, relocated from Maryland to Chicago to start a life with Kenny. Before their November 2023 wedding – a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico – the couple solidified their commitment with matching tattoos during a May 2023 trip to the Bahamas. Kenny was previously eliminated from Paradise by Tayshia Adams in week five.

Status: Married
Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, previously a contestant on Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They briefly split up during filming but got back together after the show ended.
In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca had taken the lead and proposed. She told TopMob News that she hoped their unconventional approach would inspire others to break tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of that year. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca shared on Instagram that words couldn’t express how much love and wonder they felt for their little boy.
Just weeks after Benson’s arrival, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
