The initial open beta for Electronic Arts’ Battlefield 6 commences this weekend, from August 9th through the 10th. To ensure players have ample time to download, preloading is now possible on all platforms. Additionally, an exciting new trailer has been released to build anticipation. You can watch it below.
On August 7th, individuals who watch sponsored streamers or have EA Play Pro subscription can join in the fun. But if you miss that date, don’t worry! The open beta runs from August 14th to 17th and will be unrestricted. Battlefield Studios hasn’t fully revealed all the content yet (and remember, things might still change), but they guarantee it’ll be the largest beta ever for this series.
At a minimum, players can use both open and limited weapons during gameplay. The limited weapons have the function of restricting certain types of weapons to specific classes, for further details check it out here.
On October 10th, you can get your hands on Battlefield 6, which is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms at a price of $69.99. For further information about the game’s various maps, Portal feature, and other details, click here.
