Although Electronic Arts hasn’t officially revealed sales figures, *Battlefield 6* is clearly a big win for the company. Just looking at Steam, the game hit a peak of 747,440 players shortly after release – a much higher number than *Battlefield 5* ever achieved.
Players who pre-ordered the game through the EA App experienced problems accessing it due to a technical issue. EA has fixed the problem, which they described as an outage. As an apology, all EA App users will receive a gift: 12 Hardware Boosters and 12 Career Boosters, each lasting 60 minutes, to help them progress in the game.
Players who pre-order now will get the Season 1 Battle Pass when it launches later this month. Those who purchased the Phantom Edition will receive the Season 2 Battle Pass. EA explained that they adjusted the timing of this reward to include Battlefield Pro with the Phantom Edition, ensuring players receive one Battle Pass as a bonus.
Battlefield 6 is now available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Critics generally praised the game’s multiplayer mode, though opinions were less positive regarding the single-player campaign. You can read our full thoughts on it here.

Just to explain, this is one reward from the Battle Pass. Because the Phantom Edition also includes Battlefield Pro, we’ve adjusted where this reward appears to make room for both.
