To mark the first week of *Battlefield 6*’s release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, Battlefield Studios shared an update with players about upcoming changes. They plan to adjust how quickly players advance in the game and are also looking at the performance of the Portal servers. The developers recognized that players might be earning experience points too slowly and announced they’re increasing the XP rate.
We’re boosting XP gains! You’ll now earn 10% more XP from completing matches and 40% more from your daily first match. Plus, it will be easier to unlock weapon attachments, as we’ve lowered the XP needed for the first 20 ranks. Finally, assignments previously unlocked at career ranks 20, 23, and 26 will now become available at ranks 10, 15, and 20.
Battlefield Studios has observed a surge in community-run servers for the game, reaching the platform’s limit. Many of these servers were focused on quickly gaining experience points and boosting player stats by playing against bots. To address this, the developers are making changes to reduce the number of these ‘XP farms’ and highlight high-quality, official, and verified community experiences for more players.
Battlefield Studios shared an update saying they’ve had a great first week with Battlefield 6 and are happy to have players joining them. They’ve been paying attention to player feedback and want to address some early concerns about how the game progresses and the overall community experience.
Battlefield Studios has announced that these improvements are planned for release in an update within the next week. While a specific date hasn’t been announced, the developers are working quickly and the update could arrive even earlier if testing goes well.
Hey everyone, we’ve been listening to your feedback about stuff like the weapon spread, how hard it is to see sometimes, and vehicles not showing up. We’re working on fixes for all that as fast as we can push them out. Plus, we’re also getting ready to launch Season 1 later this month, so stay tuned for more details on that!
Electronic Arts has announced that *Battlefield 6* has had a remarkably successful launch, selling over 7 million copies in its first three days. This makes it the best-selling game in the *Battlefield* series ever. Players also jumped in quickly, with 172 million matches played over the launch weekend and a total of 15 million hours of gameplay watched on streaming platforms.
