Electronic Arts is removing Battlefield Hardline from digital stores on PlayStation and Xbox. While you can still buy it on PS4 and Xbox One until May 22, 2026, online features will stop working on June 22nd.
The announcement came via a tweet from the official Battlefield account, and there’s some good news for PC gamers: the PC version won’t face the same issues as the versions for consoles.
If you never played this back when it first came out, now’s a great time to dust off your old consoles and give it a try! I remember finding it pretty fun, and I especially liked how it approached the whole ‘good cops vs. drug cartels’ thing. It had a really unique way of playing that definitely kept me hooked.
Even though Battlefield 6 has seen fewer players recently due to some problems, it’s still popular. Season 2 is now live with a new multiplayer map and weapons, and the RedSec area has a new location to explore. You can find more information here.
