BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2026 schedule: Opening and stage times

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is fast approaching, with an act for every kind of music lover.

With three stages and a diverse lineup of performers, this three-day event offers something for everyone – from up-and-coming artists to today’s biggest hits.

This weekend, from Friday, May 22nd to Sunday, May 24th, a fantastic music event will be held at Herrington Country Park in Sunderland. The annual event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The event will open on Friday at 2pm, and on Saturday and Sunday at 11am. It will close around 10pm each night.
