The new trailer for Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation was very impressive, showcasing beautiful graphics and fast-paced combat.
This game has a promising story and fast-paced, timing-based combat similar to popular Soulslike games, making it one to keep an eye on.
If you haven’t heard of it, Beast of Reincarnation lets you play as Emma, a skilled warrior tasked with eliminating a dangerous creature called The Hush that has ravaged Japan in the year 2046. Emma is a powerful fighter who can control plants and animals to attack, defend, and generally fight her way through obstacles as she tries to complete her mission.
She’s joined by her dog, Koo, who could be the best supporting character of the year – he’s incredibly helpful when you need it most. The combat feels fantastic, with enemies attacking quickly, but you can deflect their strikes to turn the tables. And if you’re struggling, Koo can even help take down tougher enemies.
We’re really excited to start playing this game when it’s released on August 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
