Bella Hadid’s fans have her back.
Following her walk in the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15th, a social media user commented that the model appeared to be on the verge of tears during her time on the runway.
A TikTok user expressed concern for Bella Hadid in a video posted on October 16th, asking what was wrong and what could be done to help.
She responded to the video by leaving a comment explaining why she hadn’t been feeling her best.
She explained she was on her period that morning and still feeling weak from everything that happened at the hospital.
As a lifestyle observer, I was really struck by Bella’s strength. She actually walked the runway just weeks after being hospitalized back in September. She’d been so open with her followers, sharing photos on Instagram of herself in the hospital with IVs and needing oxygen – it was incredibly brave, and seeing her back on the runway so soon was really inspiring.
Bella told the video creator, “I really gave it my all, and I’m so grateful to you! I’m fine, truly. I apologize if I didn’t meet your expectations. I really mean it when I say I love you.”
While Bella didn’t share the specific reason for her hospital stay, her mother, Yolanda Hadid, hinted it was related to her Lyme disease. Yolanda referred to Bella as a “Lyme warrior” in a comment on her Instagram post.
The next day, the former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills—who also has a tick-borne illness—shared more details about Bella’s health challenges, explaining that her daughter has faced many difficulties with the condition.

Honestly, reading Yolanda’s words about her friend just wrecked me. She described it perfectly – there’s no way to even begin to understand the darkness and pain this person has been through since 2013. It’s not like they were actually living, you know? It’s like their own mind became a prison, and they just learned how to survive inside it. It’s heartbreaking, truly. I feel so much for them, and Yolanda captured it all so powerfully.
Despite Bella’s challenges, Yolanda remained optimistic about her continued recovery.
She explained that while this illness has been incredibly difficult, they will persevere and work together towards a brighter future.

She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, that they would get the issue resolved eventually. Lupita Nyong’o received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus – in 2014, the year she won an Academy Award for her acting role in 12 Years a Slave.
She didn’t reveal her diagnosis until 2025, when she shared on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.
She explained that growing up, many of us are taught to expect periods to be painful, and to accept that pain as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves us dealing with a common issue in silence and feeling isolated.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she had been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.
She messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “You haven’t tweeted in ages!” Then, jokingly, she added, “I’ve been meaning to tell you… I think those super-tight pants I wore six months ago gave me a hernia, and I’ve been too afraid to say anything.”

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery because his appendix was close to rupturing.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

A Racing Louisville soccer player fell to the ground shortly after the start of her team’s game against Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate, before suddenly collapsing as trainers were called to assess her condition.
After receiving immediate medical attention on the field, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests. League officials reported she is currently stable and conscious.

Adam Devine revealed that he still feels the effects of injuries he suffered as a child when he was hit by a cement truck at age 11.
In a 2025 interview on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast, Devine described the last year as a “nightmare.” He explained that he’s been experiencing spasms throughout his body, and doctors initially believed his condition was life-threatening.
He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying his body has several minor imperfections and issues.

A former contestant on The Bachelor recently revealed he had to crawl to the hospital because of severe back pain. The pain flared up during a road trip he was taking with a friend in an RV.
He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes, saying it was ‘crazy’ in a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. To illustrate the extent of the issue, he explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was squatting 295 pounds. Now, he can’t even do a squat, can’t balance on one leg, and falls over, comparing the feeling to having a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Gina Kirschenheiter, from The Real Housewives of Orange County, revealed that her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack in March 2025, but he is now doing okay.

In March 2025, the actor known for 30 Rock experienced a medical issue at a New York Knicks game and had to be taken out of Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair.
The comedian later posted on social media to explain he’d actually gotten food poisoning and was starting to feel better.

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.
In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a gun unsafely. Brendan Rooney quickly helped her, evaluated her injuries, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed her right eye, coming within an inch of a direct hit.
The former Kim Possible star explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll continue to monitor her vision, which is currently normal.
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared her deep love for her daughters, husband, family, and friends, explaining that going through a near-death experience made her realize how quickly life can change. She urged everyone to cherish their loved ones and hug them whenever possible.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, even though it can be harsh, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised to see doctors commenting on her appearance online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition often linked to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted her to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She wouldn’t have known about the condition without the online commentary. Schumer recently shared that she’s relieved to learn her type of Cushing syndrome will resolve on its own and that she is healthy, calling it “the greatest news imaginable.”

In December 2024, an AHL player suffered a skate cut during a game and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. After his son made a full recovery, New Jersey Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald told ESPN how grateful they were, saying, “We feel very lucky, and I wouldn’t want any parent to go through that.”

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially struggling to respond when Justin noticed something was wrong. She couldn’t speak and the right side of her face began to droop, but these symptoms eventually passed.
After going to the hospital, doctors discovered Hailey had suffered a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further testing at UCLA revealed she had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO).
Doctors determined the blood clot had traveled through the PFO and to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey underwent a successful procedure to close the hole in her heart and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the virus affected nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, calling the situation scary and unexpected, but assuring everyone he would be okay and was grateful he was improving.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always believed in the power of sharing, and Jamie Foxx recently did just that, opening up about a truly frightening health ordeal. He described how it all began with a severe headache while he was in Atlanta. He actually asked someone for an aspirin, but lost consciousness before he could take it, and ended up with no memory of the next twenty days. Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but thankfully his sister, Deidra Dixon, insisted on taking him to the hospital. It turned out he’d experienced a brain bleed that led to a stroke. Twenty days after surgery, he woke up on May 4th in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He then dedicated himself to rehabilitation and therapy in Chicago. He’s incredibly grateful for all the prayers he received, saying he truly needed every single one. It’s a powerful reminder to prioritize your health and listen to your body – and to cherish the support of loved ones.

The reality TV star said she temporarily stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather before everything went dark. After that, she experienced a bright light, which led her to realize she had died that day.
She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where your body essentially begins to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a sudden, severe headache while at the gym. She described collapsing and being violently ill, realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan quickly revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. It was discovered she had an aneurysm, a rupture in an artery. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she struggled with aphasia, making it difficult to speak coherently.
After a week, her aphasia improved, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month. However, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown, requiring a second surgery. This procedure was unsuccessful, leading to a major bleed and a dire prognosis. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she’s “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared her gratitude for her family’s support during a health crisis. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, sending a text and a picture to let them know what happened. She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.
Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. In addition to recovering from the stroke, she was also dealing with lupus and kidney problems.
Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and has been working to regain some motor skills, but overall is doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue, and persistent stomach pain. Faced with conflicting diagnoses from various doctors, she embarked on a decade-long journey to find answers.
Drawing on her background in herbalism and holistic medicine, Shailene sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers, hoping to find comfort and healing. The physical discomfort eventually led to emotional struggles, including fear of food, body dysmorphia, and questions about her identity and self-worth.
Ultimately, Shailene was able to resolve her health issues and is now feeling very well. She expressed gratitude for her recovery and shared that she is happy to be in good health.
