Ben 10 Revival Might Be In The Works on Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network is having a lot of success bringing back popular shows. For example, the return of Gumball, with the new series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, brought in a lot of viewers on Hulu. While several animated characters have been revived, fans have been especially eager to see one superhero return. Although a new Ben 10 comic book is coming out later this year, an animator may have hinted at a brand new animated Ben 10 series coming to the Cartoon Network.

Animator Adri Torres recently shared some concept art on social media that looks like it’s for a new Ben 10 project. The art shows designs for new aliens that Ben Tennyson might be able to transform into. While Cartoon Network hasn’t confirmed a return for the series, the designs clearly fit with Ben’s powers. Torres is a seasoned animator with experience working on popular superhero projects, including Disney’s X-Men ’97 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. You can see the potential new designs in the video linked below, which suggests a new Ben 10 series could be in the works.

Fans are buzzing about a possible new ‘Ben 10’ project at Cartoon Network Studios. This excitement started after illustrator Adri Torres shared some new alien designs on Instagram.

Ben 10’s 2026 Comeback

Although a new Ben 10 TV show isn’t planned for this year, fans will still get more of the story. Dynamite Comics is teaming up with the original creators to launch a new comic book series in May. This comic will offer a fresh take on the Ben 10 universe, not building on any previous series, but it will feature many of the characters fans know and love.

Joe Casey, a co-creator of the original Ben 10, recently shared some exciting news about the upcoming comic book series. He emphasized how important this project is to him and the other creators, stating they’re dedicated to delivering exactly what fans—both longtime and new—want. They’re pulling from every previous version of Ben 10 and aren’t holding back any ideas. Casey believes this series will be the definitive Ben 10 experience. Given the popularity of DC’s ‘Absolute’ editions, this approach seems like a smart way to present a fresh take on the beloved classic.

The most recent Ben 10 series aired on Cartoon Network in 2016, giving the show a fresh new look. That was the longest gap between appearances since the original series premiered in 2005, following four previous series and several movies. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer to see the Tennyson family back on our screens.
