Benny Blanco Teases Delicious Date Night With Wife Selena Gomez

Selena Gomezand Benny Blanco’s bluest flame is warming hearts.

Just over seven weeks after their glamorous wedding in Santa Barbara, the couple enjoyed a sweet and romantic date night, showing their love for each other.

Benny shared a photo on his Instagram Story on November 11th showing a platter of oysters and shrimp served with dipping sauces. In the corner of the picture, Selena’s hand is visible as she reaches for a lemon wedge.

Alongside the pic, Benny simply wrote, “Date night.”

Although their date was low-key, the music producer – who recently earned his first Grammy nomination alongside Selena for their song “Bluest Flame” – shared how he and his wife typically plan their evenings out, explaining that they did so last year.

Benny shared with People magazine in November 2024 that he and Selena both put a lot of effort into their dates. He recalled one time when Selena surprised him by renting out an entire botanical garden just for a date with him.

The 36-year-old shared that their partner prefers simple gestures. For Valentine’s Day, they surprised her with a casual spread including Taco Bell, homemade movie-theater nachos, and even deep-fried pickles from Texas – a favorite of hers. They also gathered all her favorite candies and Hot Cheetos.

No matter what they do on date night, Benny always loved one special moment with his wife the most.

He said he loves mornings. It’s his special time with Sel, as they both enjoy waking up early and having a quiet moment before the day begins.

Benny shared that he has a best friend he’s incredibly close to, someone he enjoys spending all his time with, and that makes every day feel special.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco started dating in July 2023, shortly after Selena’s birthday, according to Benny in an interview with Howard Stern in May 2024.

She went on to say that he was the best thing that had ever happened in her life, and that she still felt he was better than any of her past partners.
