7) Euphoria (HBO Max)

After a four-year wait, the popular HBO Max series Euphoria is back for a third season. The new season, which will premiere on April 12th with episodes released weekly through May 31st, follows a group of friends as they grapple with questions of faith, forgiveness, and morality. Starring Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Zendaya, season three promises to be another compelling chapter in their lives.
6) The Hunger Games franchise (Hulu)

Good news for fans of The Hunger Games! All five movies in the series will be available on Hulu starting April 14th. You’ll be able to watch The Hunger Games (2012), Catching Fire (2013), Mockingjay Part 1 (2014), Mockingjay Part 2 (2015), and The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) whenever you like this month. While fans are waiting for the new prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping in November, this is a great way to revisit the world of Panem!
5) The Running Man (Prime Video)

If you didn’t get a chance to see Glen Powell in The Running Man when it was in theaters last year, you can now watch it on Prime Video starting April 17th. Here’s what the movie is about: The Running Man is a dangerous game show where contestants try to survive for 30 days while being hunted by professional killers. Everything is broadcast to a huge audience, and the reward increases with each day. Ben Richards, a working-class man played by Glen Powell, is forced to compete by the show’s tough producer (Josh Brolin). Ben quickly becomes a fan favorite and a real problem for the show’s creators thanks to his courage and determination.
4) Beef (Netflix)

Three years after its wildly popular first season, the acclaimed series Beef returns to Netflix on April 16th with a brand new story. This season focuses on a young Gen Z couple, Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin (Charles Melton), who work at a country club and get caught up in the messy marriage of their boss, Josh (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay (Carey Mulligan). As Josh and Lindsay’s relationship falls apart, both couples try to win over the club’s wealthy owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), by offering favors and using pressure. Meanwhile, Chairwoman Park is dealing with her own issues, including a scandal involving her second husband, Dr. Kim (Song Kang-ho).
3) The Miniature Wife (Peacock)

Looking for a new show to watch? Peacock released all ten episodes of its original series, The Miniature Wife, on April 9th. Critics seem to be enjoying it, as it currently has a 73% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In the novel The Miniature Wife, a brilliant scientist accidentally shrinks his wife to just six inches tall while working on an incredible discovery. This already complicated situation makes their existing marital issues even worse.
2) Predator (Tubi)

Looking for a classic horror film? Tubi has the original Predator from 1987, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, and Kevin Peter Hall. It arrives on the free streaming service April 15th, and launched a hugely successful franchise that continues today with the upcoming 2025 release, Predator: Badlands.
The movie Predator follows a group of elite soldiers on a mission in the Central American jungle who become the target of a dangerous alien hunter.
1) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Pluto TV)

Rounding out our recommendations is the comedy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Available to stream on Pluto TV since April 1st, this film from director and writer Kevin Smith is a funny entry in his Askewniverse. It boasts a star-studded cast including Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Eliza Dushku, Shannon Elizabeth, Will Ferrell, Ali Larter, Jason Lee, and Chris Rock.
In the movie, Jay and Silent Bob are excited to learn that a film is being made based on the comic book characters inspired by them. However, when they discover they won’t receive any money from the movie, they decide to do everything they can to stop it from being made.
