Right now, you can get what many consider to be the best Ubisoft game ever made for just $2.49 – that’s a 75% discount! It’s the lowest price this game has ever been offered at, so it’s a great time to buy if you don’t already own it. However, this deal ends on October 28th, giving you about 72 hours to grab it.
From now until October 28th, PC gamers with a Steam account can get Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for only $2.49. This offer is exclusive to Steam. While the 2005 game is hard to find these days, it is available on Xbox through the Microsoft Store – but this particular deal isn’t.
About the Game
If you’re not familiar with it, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a stealth action-adventure game released in 2005 by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Milan. It’s the third game in the Splinter Cell series, following Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (which recently became available on Steam). Chaos Theory received a remarkable score of 94 on Metacritic, making it Ubisoft’s highest-rated game of all time. While some fans might point to Assassin’s Creed 2 or Far Cry 3 as Ubisoft’s best, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory actually has a higher critical rating than both.
Even after 20 years, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory remains enjoyable, especially for dedicated stealth game enthusiasts or anyone interested in video game history. While it doesn’t feel groundbreaking today, it’s still worth playing.
If you download Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, you can expect to spend around 12 to 15 hours playing the Ubisoft game. Players who aim to complete everything will likely spend between 20 and 25 hours with the stealth action title.
Since a new Splinter Cell game is in the works, it might be smarter to hold off on playing the older games until the reboot comes out. However, there’s no guarantee the reboot will ever actually be released, considering the development issues it’s faced.
Just wanted to say, I’m really excited about this! And I’d love to hear what you think, so please share your thoughts in the comments or head over to the ComicBook Forum to chat with other fans!
