Beware: 007 First Light Gameplay Reportedly Leaks Online, Possibly Including the Ending

If you’re excited about the upcoming release of 007 First Light in late May, be aware that you might encounter spoilers before then.

A new report from VGC says that more than an hour of gameplay from IO Interactive’s upcoming James Bond game has been leaked online.

It seems a security flaw on the website of the Indonesian Games Rating System (IGRS) exposed private information submitted by users. Someone recently discovered these vulnerabilities.

So, it turns out someone leaked a bunch of stuff – videos of games people sent in to get rated, which is bad enough. But the really scary part is they also leaked thousands of email addresses belonging to game developers. It’s a huge privacy issue, and honestly, it’s got me worried about potential phishing attacks and stuff.

As a huge fan, I’m hearing that Video Game Chronicles has confirmed leaked footage of the game is making the rounds online. And it’s not just little bits – apparently, it contains major spoilers, possibly even revealing how the whole thing ends! It’s really frustrating, but I’m trying to avoid it at all costs so I can experience everything fresh when the game finally comes out.

The leaked content isn’t limited to the 007 First Light game; video clips from Bandai Namco’s Echoes of Aincrad have also appeared online.

So, it looks like the leaks weren’t just about one game! Apparently, a remake of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and a remaster of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse are also in the works, but nobody’s actually seen any gameplay footage of those yet.

I’ve been trying to find these videos everyone’s talking about, but so far, no luck. It’s possible they’ve already been taken down. But honestly, if they got out there, I’m worried copies might be floating around online, so everyone should be careful what they click on.
