For 12 seasons, The Big Bang Theory was a massive hit, leading to two spinoffs, Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which focused on Sheldon and his family. Now, a new series is taking a different approach, centering on Stuart, Denise, Bert, and Barry. Appropriately named Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the show recently had its first preview at CCXP, and here’s a rundown of everything we know.
I’m so excited for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe! It looks like Stuart and his friends are really thrown into some wild scenarios as they try to fix everything. From the pictures I’ve seen, the machine they’re working on is a total mess, and honestly, so is the world around them – one minute they’re in a cozy comic book shop, the next they’re smack-dab in the middle of a war zone! Luckily, we don’t have to wait long to see what happens because it’s coming to HBO Max this July!

Everything We Know About Stuart Fails to Save the Universe

The new show, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, will be the first Big Bang Theory spinoff set after the original series ended. Previous spinoffs were set in the past. Unlike those shows, this one won’t center on the main characters. Instead, it will follow some of the popular supporting characters, marking a significant shift in the show’s formula.

The show will star Stuart, Denise, Bert, and Barry, but the first scenes have a noticeably different look and feel than the original series. This is because the new show won’t simply follow the characters through their everyday lives at the comic book store; the story will be more involved than that.
Stuart unintentionally destroys a complex machine created by Sheldon and Leonard, which triggers a catastrophic event threatening all realities. Now, Stuart and his friends must fix everything. We see Stuart looking extremely worried, and Bert in a precarious situation – he’s tied to a tree facing an angry mob with torches.

The introduction of new images suggests the group’s efforts to restore things aren’t going smoothly. We’re hoping to see a trailer or some clips from the show soon, but seeing the cast together will likely please fans of The Big Bang Theory for now.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is set to hit HBO Max this July.
