Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson aren’t letting the neigh-sayers get them down.

 
Indeed, the couple proved they’re stronger than ever as they stepped out together in color-coordinating outfits at the 2026 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on May 1, walking hand-in-hand through the muddy racetrack.
 
Jordon, 25, donned a blue and pink floral-printed strapless midi dress, and accessorized the look with a pink fascinator, heels and clutch, while Bill, 74, wore a matching pastel blue jacket, pink shirt and tie, paired with navy trousers.

While showing photos of the pair’s race day look on Instagram, Jordon took the moment to highlight how she and Bill have navigated tough times together. The former Bridgewater State University cheerleader seemingly referenced the ongoing criticism of her and the University of North Carolina football coach’s age gap, captioning the May 2 post, “Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together.”

 

The couple also showcased a matching style with their outfits at the Derby. After sporting bright colors, Bill and Jordon both chose classic black for the red carpet on May 2nd. Bill wore a black suit, and his girlfriend looked stunning in a flowing, one-shoulder black dress, cinched at the waist with several bold leather belts.

Jordon recently responded to criticism online, which isn’t unusual for her. She’s defended her relationship with Bill before, particularly regarding their significant age difference of almost 50 years.

Jordon, who initially connected with Bill in 2021, started the new year by reposting a puzzling message from a celebration they had in 2025 the previous year.

In a post reshared on January 1st, she reflected on their relationship, writing, ‘Even though nothing fundamentally changed for us in 2024 – it was all just public perception – everything felt different.’ She celebrated entering their fourth year together, adding, ‘I’m ready to continue supporting you through everything in 2025.’

Carolina Athletics confirmed that Jordon Hudson isn’t directly employed by the University or its athletic department, but she is allowed access to the football facilities. The statement to TopMob News also clarified that Hudson will continue to handle all branding and business activities related to Coach Belichick, separate from his duties with the football team and the University.
