Bleach Announces New Release Ahead of Anime’s Finale

The anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is approaching its final episodes this summer, and a special release has been announced to celebrate. The series returned a few years ago after a long hiatus, and fans have already enjoyed three seasons of the new adaptation. Now, as the anime nears the end of Tite Kubo’s original Bleach manga, it’s officially entering its final arc.

The final part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arrives this July, and to celebrate, a special art book showcasing the anime’s designs will be released. The book launches in Japan on July 15th – also Ichigo Kurosaki’s birthday – and you can see the cover art below.

When Does Bleach: TYBW Part 4 Come Out?

The new anime, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, is expected to premiere in July as part of the Summer 2026 anime season, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet. Interestingly, fans in the United States will be the first to see the new episodes! A preview event will be held in select US theaters from June 25th to 29th, showcasing the first three episodes. This suggests the creators are planning a big finale for the series.

The first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will be shown at this event, with both the original Japanese audio and the English dub. Attendees will also get to see an exclusive interview with the anime’s creator, Tite Kubo, and the directors, Tomohisa Taguchi and Hikaru Murata, discussing the making of the final season. With the anime nearing its end, fans are eager to see how the story will conclude after a long wait.

How Will Bleach End?

The final arc of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity promises intense battles between the Soul Reapers and the Royal Guard. Ichigo discovers Uryu’s hidden motives, strengthening his resolve to protect the world with his friends. As Yhwach’s power reaches new heights, the fate of the human world, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo hangs in the balance. Will the ending bring despair, or is there still hope?

The upcoming final season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will continue the trend of adding scenes and content not originally included in the manga. This has already happened throughout the anime’s revival, and because this is the last season, these new additions promise to be especially exciting and impactful.
