Fans of Bleach have a lot to look forward to in 2026, as the final part of Thousand-Year Blood War will bring the main story to a close – a decade after the manga originally ended. The manga’s ending was quite divisive, leaving many readers feeling unsatisfied due to its rushed pace and unresolved plot points. This was largely because creator Tite Kubo’s health suffered after years of working on the weekly series. The new anime adaptation is anticipated to address some of these issues and deliver a more satisfying conclusion. Kubo has been actively involved in the anime’s production of the TYBW arc, and the finale is now within reach. While the premiere date for the final part isn’t yet known, Kubo recently shared an update on Klub Outside, a Japanese website where fans can register and submit questions about the series.
Launched in 2021, the website has featured hundreds of questions answered by Kubo. In a recent Q&A this month, Kubo shared that he’s currently reviewing storyboards and believes the studio is committed to making high-quality episodes. Because the website is only for registered members, popular fan accounts like @0ciha and @IchigoTaicho9 on X shared the news. Fans are especially excited about TYBW Part 4, as it’s expected to include more original scenes than previous parts. Production is nearing completion, and the main trailer and release date will be announced soon.
Bleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 Is Going to Be Better Than Ever

Fans of the manga know the final battle and its surprising twists are among the series’ highlights, despite the divisive ending. Last year, the creator announced that the final arc will feature a significant amount of new content, potentially adding entire episodes of original scenes. Given the creator’s history – they previously developed anime-exclusive characters for the ‘Thousand-Year Blood War’ arc during Jushiro Ukitake’s backstory – we can anticipate similar additions with these new scenes, possibly including entirely new characters.
The fact that the anime includes content not found in the original manga actually helps the studio, as they don’t have as many manga chapters to adapt for each season. The third part of the anime ends around chapter 656 of the manga, leaving only 30 chapters for the final part. Like the third part suggested, the finale will explore the history of the Soul King and Soul Society, culminating in the epic battle between Ichigo and Yhwach. We’ll finally see the full potential of Ichigo’s powers, showcasing everything he’s learned and how much stronger he’s become, especially after training with Squad Zero. This final arc won’t just focus on Ichigo; even characters who haven’t had much focus in the past will get their chance to shine in the fight against the Quincies.
