At Anime Expo 2025, the highly anticipated series “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” was one of the main attractions. One of its creators hinted at some brand-new characters appearing in the upcoming episodes of Part 4. The fourth and final season of “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” set to be released next year, is an adaptation of the concluding chapters of Tite Kubo’s original “Bleach” manga. Fans have been eagerly waiting for over a decade to witness these battles on screen, but they can expect even more surprises than initially anticipated.
The fourth part of “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” titled “The Calamity,” is set for release next year. During a special message at Anime Expo 2025, character designer Masashi Kudo revealed exclusive insights into the upcoming episodes. At the anime’s panel, he hinted that the concluding episodes will contain previously unseen scenes not included in Tite Kubo’s original manga storyline. Moreover, fans can anticipate encountering new characters that were not present in the initial storyline.
New Characters Are Coming In Bleach: TYBW Part 4
Thus far, the manga version of Bleach only contained what was originally written by Kubo Sensei. However, in the anime there were additional scenes that weren’t included in the manga. At Anime Expo 2025, Kudo shared with fans that this time around, they will be incorporating more of these exclusive anime scenes. These new additions are something to get excited about, even for long-time Bleach readers who read it in Jump. They can look forward to discovering new characters, and yes, some of them will indeed be featured.
As we near the end of the saga, Kudo expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “For such a long time, both the manga and anime of Bleach have been ongoing, followed by a hiatus. There are those who’ve been with us since the very beginning, and then there are those who joined with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. However, with the conclusion now in sight, I can’t help but feel eager to witness this final moment, to experience the completion of this grand story. I truly hope you share my excitement as we await the unfolding of the next chapter.” Now, all that remains is to see what happens in these closing episodes.
When Does Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 Come Out?
Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War – Crisis” is being developed for a release next year, though a specific date hasn’t been set yet according to recent updates at Anime Expo 2025. This upcoming series will mark the end of the Bleach anime, concluding the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline that ignited its revival several years ago. With approximately 30 chapters of Tite Kubo’s original manga remaining to be adapted for these final episodes (as of Part 3), it’s no surprise that there will be a significant amount of new, original content for the anime.
To stay updated on everything that has transpired in the “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” thus far, you now have the option to stream it exclusively through Hulu within the United States or Disney+ in other countries. Not only can you catch up on this new series, but you’ll also find the entire original anime series available there. As for what fresh characters we might encounter, that remains a mystery, but with Kubo overseeing the project, it promises to be an exciting unfolding of events.
