NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment just released a new trailer for Blood Message, an upcoming single-player action-adventure game with a strong story. The game follows a messenger’s perilous journey eastward with his son, where they’ll face overwhelming challenges. You can watch the trailer below.
The new trailer for Blood Message not only sets up the story, but also shows off its action-packed combat. It looks like the game will focus on making weapons feel powerful and substantial. Players can expect to be right in the middle of massive battles, fighting off large groups of enemies.
Along with standard swordfights, Blood Message will seemingly also allow you to, at least temporarily, play as other characters that have their own unique weapons and movesets. The action as a whole is also quite violent, with plenty of blood and dismemberment showcased throughout the action-packed trailer.
NetEase hasn’t announced when Blood Message will be released or on what platforms it will be available. But they did confirm a demo will be playable at Summer Game Fest’s Play Days, starting tomorrow. Given how good the game looks, it’s likely to come to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
NetEase Games first announced Blood Message in June 2025. This marked the company’s initial step into developing single-player games, as they usually create multiplayer titles such as Marvel Rivals.
