Recently, the unofficial PC port of Bloodborne has significantly improved. While Sony hasn’t released an official PC version or remaster of the game, a passionate modding community has made it possible to play the entire Bloodborne experience on PC, and it now looks even better than before.
Thanks to a new free update from modder fromsoftserve, most PC players will now be able to play Bloodborne without any complicated setup or issues.
The Bloodborne PC Remaster Keeps Getting Better
A new and improved version of the Bloodborne PC port, called BB PC Remaster (Version 0.99.57), is now available on Nexus Mods. This updated mod originally added dynamic shadows, increased shadow detail, improved stability and visual effects, and added realistic lighting to things like candles and lamps. The latest version removes the need for ReShade; instead, users can use a preset created by fromsoftserve and turn off in-game anti-aliasing through the ShadPS4 patch menu.
With ShadPS4, you can play Bloodborne on your computer. This mod also enhances the game’s graphics, making it look even better than it did on the PlayStation 4.
Bloodborne Will Never Truly Die
The BB PC Remaster shows just how popular Bloodborne remains ten years after its release. While Sony hasn’t announced an official remaster, Bloodborne will celebrate its 10-year anniversary later this month, and fans are still hoping for one. Until then, modders like fromsoftserve are bringing the PlayStation game to PC and enhancing it with modern improvements.
While fans wait for news, Bloodborne players are finding similar experiences in other games. They’re exploring a Dark Souls 3 mod and a dark fantasy RPG that blends the atmosphere of Bloodborne with elements of Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s a testament to the game’s dedicated community that Bloodborne remains popular and active even more than a decade after its release.
