As a big PlayStation fan, I’ve noticed fewer and fewer of their exclusive games are coming to PC lately, which makes me think Sony has some news up their sleeve. There’s been talk of a new State of Play event next week, and everyone’s wondering if we’ll finally see remakes or ports of games like *Demon’s Souls* or *Gran Turismo 7*. But honestly, don’t get your hopes up for *Bloodborne* – it doesn’t seem like that one’s coming to PC anytime soon.
According to Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb, who discussed it on the Game Mess Decides podcast, there’s still no sign of a *Bloodborne* remaster or remake happening anytime soon. He recently checked on the project and hasn’t heard anything to suggest it’s in development.
The discussion currently centers around a possible release of *Bloodborne* on PC. However, according to Jeff Grubb, this won’t happen without FromSoftware’s cooperation. A remaster, remake, or new sequel seems extremely unlikely, and has been for a long time. While anything is possible, Sony hasn’t shown any interest in revisiting the critically acclaimed game more than a decade after its original release on PlayStation 4.
It’s surprising, considering the challenging action RPG sold almost 7.5 million copies by 2020, as revealed in documents leaked during a cyberattack on Insomniac Games. Thankfully, there are similar games available, like NEOWIZ’s *Lies of P*, which just got a new *Overture* expansion. You can read our review of it here.
