Over the years, it has garnered numerous accolades including Primetime Emmy awards and nominations. Recently, musician George Stanford, who has previously worked on shows like Yellowjacket, American Idol, Schoolhouse Rock, Shark Tank, and many more, shared a positive review for the upcoming second season of Blue Eye Samurai, potentially expanding his portfolio further. Here’s what Stanford had to express about Mizu’s anticipated return: “Season 2 is absolutely fantastic! I’ve been recording the entire stellar cast for this at ‘Levels Audio.’

Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Debut
As a die-hard fan eagerly anticipating more adventures of Mizu, the captivating blue-eyed samurai, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Netflix revealed the first poster for the upcoming season! Though they didn’t specify an exact release date just yet, the promise of “coming soon” has me on the edge of my seat. The first season wrapped up at the end of last year, and given the intricate animation involved in bringing this series to life, I have no doubt that the creative team is pouring their hearts into crafting Mizu’s return.
Fortunately, the previous season left a rich tapestry of events for Mizu’s story to unfold, giving us tantalizing glimpses of where her journey might take her next. So, here’s to hoping that season two doesn’t keep us waiting too long – I can hardly bear the suspense!
The story, titled “Blue-Eyed Samurai,” initially focuses on introducing Mizu’s character, a samurai disguised as a man, journeying across Japan. The main character, known as Blue Eye Samurai, left behind a trail of bloodshed in their wake, yet some elusive targets still evaded capture. Previously concluding its Emmy-winning run, Mizu resolved to pursue her targets of vengeance to London – a setting that promises quite a contrast from the familiar surroundings she once knew in Japan. Despite the perils of Japan, Blue Eye Samurai had an understanding of their environment. However, England may not offer the same level of familiarity for Mizu.
The makers of “Blue Eye Samurai” are actively developing the second season and have expressed eagerness to delve deeper into Mizu’s violent storyline. Previously, Michael Green and Amber Noizumi have hinted at their ambition for multiple seasons, even expressing hope for spin-offs. Given the success of the animated series so far, there is a strong possibility they might realize their aspirations.
