With the new school year starting soon, fans of the BBC Three and iPlayer show Boarders finally have a release date for its third and final season. It’s been a little over a year since season 2 aired.
The full season will be available to stream as a boxset on BBC iPlayer starting Sunday, March 15th. You can also watch the episodes on BBC Three, with the first one premiering that same evening at 10pm, followed immediately by the second episode at 10:45pm.
After the show was officially renewed for a third and final season, creator Daniel Lawrence Taylor shared that ‘Boarders’ was a very meaningful project for him, and he was thrilled by how much viewers related to the characters.
I always set out to make something that was funny, real, and celebrated Black culture. Now, as this chapter comes to a close, I hope to finish telling their story as they navigate their senior year – dealing with bigger obstacles, stronger bonds, and the uncertainty of what comes after graduation.

Season 3 brings back the original cast – Jodie Campbell as Leah, Sekou Diaby as Toby, Aruna Jalloh as Femi, Myles Kamwendo as Omar, and Josh Tedeku as Jaheim. Their mentor, Gus, played by Taylor, will also be appearing on screen.
The cast is expanding with the addition of Rufus Jones, Patrick Baladi, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Kenyah Sandy, Daisy Jacob, Louis Thresher, and Nagaieh Dad.
The next season follows the South London teenagers as they return to St Gilbert’s, where they’ll face new challenges and increasing pressure.
