After Rafa and Vex are eliminated from the scene, it’s now Amon, the Forgeknight of Borderlands 4, who deserves a focused cinematic short. This narrative focuses on his confrontation with a cult that aims to open a vault, believing it will usher in paradise. Unfortunately, their hopes prove misguided, leaving it up to Amon to rescue those in peril instead.
Despite a seemingly straightforward plot point, it offers a glimpse into Amon’s past, detailing the tragic consequences of a Vault opening that claimed the lives of hundreds of soldiers and those dear to him. Currently on Kairos, his mission appears to be preventing further Vault openings; however, Harlowe’s true intention is merely to discover his preferred ice cream flavor. Interestingly enough, it’s pistachio.
If Amon’s charm doesn’t win you over, perhaps his warrior-style array of Action Skills, featuring a protective shield for absorbing damage, a powerful rocket punch, and dual elemental axes reminiscent of a Viking, will catch your interest instead. Find out more about his skill trees here.
Coming out on September 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (October 3rd for Switch 2), the upcoming game known as Borderlands 4 boasts an impressive arsenal of more than 30 billion weapons. Discover how this works by visiting the link provided.
