Brad Pitt is taking further steps in his ongoing legal battle with ex Angelina Jolie.
Despite officially ending their marriage in December after eight years of legal proceedings, the former couple, who have children Maddox (22), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (19), and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, are still sorting out a disagreement regarding Château Miraval, the French vineyard they once co-owned.
It’s true that Pitt submitted court documents on June 30th aiming to question Alexey Oliynik, an employee of the alcohol company Stoli Group. Pitt claimed in his filing, as reported by People, that Oliynik possesses direct knowledge about Jolie’s 2021 sale of their shared winery to Tenute del Mondo, which is the wine division of Stoli.
According to the F-1 star’s submission, he claims that Oliynik has failed to provide necessary documents related to the transaction of the winery.
The motion states that these requests are directly related to the core arguments about Pitt’s disagreement with the sale. It further argues that the request to question Oliynik meets the criteria for discoverability, as it aligns with Pitt’s claims that Jolie intentionally acted against him in selling to Stoli, a party known by Pitt to be opposed to the sale.
TopMob News has reached out to Pitt and Jolie for comment but has not yet heard back.
As a dedicated follower, I’m referring to Brad Pitt’s recent court filing, which marks three years since he first took legal action against Angelina Jolie over the sale of our winery in 2022. In the original lawsuit documents, obtained by People magazine, I expressed my belief that her selling our former estate was a part of a vengeful campaign she had been waging against me.
In response, Jolie filed a lawsuit against the actor from Fight Club. According to her court documents, she claimed that she had sold the property due to Pitt’s attempt to make her sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as part of a deal he proposed, which would have prevented her from disclosing a 2016 event where Pitt was alleged to have physically and emotionally abused his family.
After the divorce filing by the couple, Pitt admitted to having an alcohol problem during their marriage and decided to quit drinking. In response to Jolie’s accusations in 2022, his lawyer stated to NBC News that “Brad has taken responsibility for everything he was accountable for from day one—unlike the other party—but he won’t take credit for things he didn’t do.
In the most recent court case developments, an order issued to Pitt in April previously required Jolie to disclose eight years’ worth of nondisclosure agreements. At that time, Jolie’s legal representatives expressed their willingness to fulfill this order, stating that it would merely demonstrate the excessive nature of Pitt’s NDA that Jolie had declined to sign.
In my enthusiastic fangirl perspective, let me put it this way: “Regular NDAs just don’t measure up to what Mr. Pitt unexpectedly requested, aiming to hide his private misbehavior,” Paul Murphy, representing Angelina Jolie, stated emphatically to TopMob News back then. He highlighted that our team was thrilled the Court recognized the only possible significance lies in questioning the fairness of Mr. Pitt’s actions – a matter we’ve now established as crucial in this case.

After developing a deep affection for Cambodia during the filming of 2001’s “Tomb Raider”, Angelina Jolie sought to find her first child by visiting an orphanage located in Battambang, a rural town within Cambodia.
She didn’t feel a sense of connection with any of them, but when she encountered Maddox (born on August 5, 2001), who was lying in a box suspended from the ceiling, she immediately felt a bond. This connection made her cry profusely, she shared later with Vanity Fair.
Although the 26-year-old woman had legally adopted her oldest child on her own, when she started dating Brad Pitt later, he decided to go through the adoption process too.
Because of his curiosity about his mother’s profession, during the production of the 2017 film “First They Killed My Father“, which is an adaptation of the book by his friend Loung Ung detailing the Cambodian genocide under the Khmer Rouge regime, Maddox decided to join as an executive producer. In his own words, he expressed this involvement as a means of offering assistance wherever possible. Regarding his mother, whom he referred to as ‘boss’, he described her as “fun, humorous, and enjoyable to collaborate with”, adding that she is simply “amazing”.
Following his biochemistry education at Yonsei University in South Korea, a decision that made his mother incredibly joyful, Maddox was invited to the White House for a state dinner in April 2023. This event was graciously hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden as they welcomed South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, First Lady Kim Keon Hee.
In the interview with MSN conducted in 2007, Angelina Jolie described how her son Pax lived for three-and-a-half years in a single location, a solitary room, on a small iron bed alongside 20 other children. She emphasized that he had no personal autonomy during this time and experienced limited freedom. This was his existence in an orphanage situated beyond Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In the company of Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh, Angelina shared, “Suddenly, he finds himself in an incredibly open environment with new siblings and parents.” He’s picking up English quickly and is full of affection, yet also quite spirited due to his newfound freedom. He can be a little wild and unpredictable, but what strength and resilience this little one possesses!
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I had the privilege of lending my voice to the character Yoo in Angelina’s 2016 animated film, “Kung Fu Panda 3.” Prior to that, I also worked as a set photographer on “First They Killed My Father.” Lastly, I walked the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes hand-in-hand with my mom.
Apart from that, he was instrumental in adorning Atelier Jolie – a creative fashion cooperative and tailoring business Angelina launched in New York City. Additionally, he held a position in the assistant director team for the Italian production set of her upcoming movie titled “Without Blood”.
In an interview with People, Angelina described her experience collaborating with both Pax and Maddox by saying, “A movie set at its peak operates as a close-knit family, and that’s exactly how it felt working alongside them.
At age three, Maddox joined Angelina at an orphanage in Hawassa, Ethiopia – a place where she also met her eldest daughter Zahara, born on January 8, 2005. The actress shared with Anderson Cooper that Maddox adores his sister. “When Zahara came home,” Angelina said, “she was older, seven months to be exact. For Maddox, it’s like having a tiny pet he can merely hold and gaze at.
Just like her siblings, Zahara shows keen interest in various aspects of her mother’s endeavors. She has walked red carpets, launched a charitable jewelry line (Zahara Collection) in partnership with jeweler Robert Procop back in 2019, and even joined her mom’s trips to Syrian refugee camps as part of their work with the UNHCR.
In August 2022, Angelina felt emotional as she sent Zahara to Spelman College in Atlanta (“I haven’t cried yet, but I hope I can keep it together,” she said in an Instagram video). Later, she went back for the Homecoming celebrations of this Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Zahara, who became a member of the school’s Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority in 2023, has also traveled with the actress on multiple trips to Washington D.C. She stood beside Angelina during her emotional speech advocating for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act in February 2022 and later when they lobbied lawmakers for the approval of the Justice for All Reauthorization Act of 2022.
Approximately half a year following their pregnancy announcement, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed their daughter Shiloh at Cottage Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia on the 27th of May, 2006. In her MSN interview, Angelina described Shiloh as “brimming with light and love, she’s a little sweetheart, and quite amusing.” She added, “I see some of myself in her – she’s going to be a handful!
At the premiere of the movie “Unbroken” in 2014, Shiloh first stepped onto the red carpet. Following this, she attended events for films like “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”, “The Breadwinner”, “Dumbo”, and the 2018 National Board of Review Awards Gala, as well as the 2021 red carpet event for “Eternals”. On that occasion, she wore a Dior gown that belonged to her mother.
Angelina expressed to Daily Pop on TopMob, “‘Wow, go ahead and wear it, make it shine even more than me!’ She said she encourages her children to borrow items from her wardrobe, saying, “Take it, it’s your turn now, anything. I’m that kind of mom.
Beyond expressing curiosity about Angelina’s charitable work, it appears that Shiloh has ventured into the world of entertainment, often visiting L.A.’s Millennium Dance Complex.
When Shiloh turns 18 in the year 2024, she will submit a petition at a court in Los Angeles to drop the hyphenated “Pitt” portion of her last name, choosing to be recognized as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie instead. According to a reliable source who spoke with TopMob News, Shiloh has taken matters into her own hands and retained her own legal representation, covering all associated costs personally.
Making her first public appearance with her growing belly at the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards, Angelina later welcomed Knox and his twin sister Vivienne into the world on July 12, 2008, in Nice, France. After setting up residence at their Château Miraval, Angelina shared with People, “It’s chaotic, but we’re handling it and having a fantastic time.” She also mentioned that Shiloh and Zahara enjoyed picking out the twins’ clothes and helping change and care for them.
Referring to Brad’s grandfather, Hal Knox Hillhouse, Angelina pointed out that “Knox has many similarities with Brad, both emotionally and physically.” In fact, their likeness was quite evident as they attended the 2015 British motorcycle Grand Prix together.
Just like their older siblings Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, Knox also got a chance to act in the 2016 movie “Kung Fu Panda 3”, lending his voice to the character Ku Ku. As Jolie explained to ET, they were initially timid and not particularly keen on acting, but she didn’t want them to miss out on the experience. They eventually enjoyed themselves during the process.
In a statement given to TopMob News, Angelina Jolie compared the characteristics of Knox’s younger-by-a-minute fraternal twin to those of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. She mentioned that just like her mom, this sibling is not fixated on being the center of attention but rather dedicated to supporting other creative individuals. Angelina highlighted that this individual is thoughtful and deeply committed to theater, striving diligently to grasp how they can contribute effectively.
Despite excelling in portraying the younger Aurora opposite Elle Fanning in 2014’s Maleficent (Angelina herself was surprised by her performance, remarking that she went back to hit her mark perfectly! It’s quite impressive), this high schooler has since found a preference for roles behind the camera.
Angelina mentioned that Vivienne was instrumental in persuading her to assist in adapting Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film “The Outsiders” for Broadway. As a result, the teenager took on the role of an unpaid helper for her mom, who was the producer, on the show that eventually won a Tony Award.
Angelina mentioned to People that Vivienne, who is listed as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill, would correct her. “She’ll remind me,” Angelina explained, “‘Haven’t you seen the memo? We need to do this, we must go through with it,'” Angelina said. “Vivienne has been an incredibly tough assistant. She approaches her work with utmost seriousness.
