Bradley Cooper is revealing a page from his playbook.
Bradley Cooper, known for his role in The Hangover, has responded to rumors about possible cosmetic surgery. He mentioned that people have been commenting on his looks both online and in person recently.
Bradley, 51, recently shared that people have been complimenting his appearance. He told Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett on the January 5th episode of the Smartless podcast, ‘They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good!”
Will agreed, and explained he gets annoyed when people make that claim because he finds it ridiculous. He said everyone seems to think they have all the answers, and they fall for that kind of nonsense.
Okay, so, Bradley Cooper! I’ve been following him forever, and this is just… everything. Apparently, someone asked Will, I think in an old interview, to share something no one knows about Bradley, and it led to him talking about all these rumors about Bradley getting work done! Honestly, I was already obsessed, but now I need to know everything. Especially since he’s been with Gigi Hadid since 2023 – they’re the perfect couple, and now this?! It’s just… too much! I’m living for it.
Will explained, “I was going to say that a lot of people think Bradley has had plastic surgery, but the truth is, he hasn’t. Everyone keeps talking about it, but he really hasn’t had any work done!”
This is the first time Bradley—who has an 8-year-old daughter, Lea, with his ex, Irina Shayk—has spoken publicly about rumors he’s had plastic surgery. He previously discussed changing his appearance after facing criticism for wearing a fake nose to play composer Leonard Bernstein in the 2023 film Maestro.
Bradley shared with CBS Mornings in November 2023 that he completed the project because he was passionate about it. He also noted a surprising physical similarity between himself and the subject of the project, Lenny, even pointing out that his prosthetic nose felt as light as a silk sheet.

Cooper, who both wrote and directed the Netflix movie about the Jewish composer, also shared his reasons for using prosthetic makeup.
It really comes down to getting things to look natural. My facial features are quite different from Lenny’s – my lips and chin, for example – and the contrast was just too noticeable. We had to make adjustments to ensure he looked like a real person. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be believable.
And Leonard’s children, Jamie, Alexander and Nina, defended the actor’s decision.
In August 2023, the children of Leonard Bernstein released a statement on Instagram praising Bradley Cooper for including them throughout the entire process of making his film about their father. They were deeply moved by his dedication, his respect for their father’s music, and the genuine passion he brought to the project, and they were saddened to see any inaccurate or misleading information about his work.
Bradley isn’t alone in addressing rumors about plastic surgery. Here’s a look at other celebrities who’ve spoken about cosmetic procedures.

The Euphoria actress confirmed in December 2025 that she hasn’t had a boob job.
During a Vanity Fair interview, Amanda Seyfried playfully asked a question that many people were wondering: “Are your breasts real?”
“Yes,” Sydney responded. “I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.”

She shared in December 2025 that she’s never gotten filler.
She advised against excessive cosmetic procedures like surgery, fillers, and Botox, telling People magazine that a more subtle approach is always best. She emphasized taking it easy and avoiding overdoing things.

Travis Barker’s daughter, whose mother is Shanna Moakler, has publicly discussed getting lip fillers, but she insists she hasn’t had any other cosmetic procedures.
In February 2024, she posted bikini photos on Instagram. One user commented, expressing concern that she may have had cosmetic surgery at a young age, while also saying she looks good now.
The rapper said they were grateful for the support and emphasized their natural beauty, clarifying that their only cosmetic enhancement was lip filler.

In a 2015 interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.K., the actress, known for her role in Twilight, stated she would never consider plastic surgery. She explained she was very uncomfortable with the idea of altering her appearance, and believed those who did were making a mistake, comparing it to damaging something beautiful.

Anne Hathaway, known for her role in The Devil Wears Prada, shared with Good Housekeeping in 2008 that it’s important to accept getting older. She explained that life is valuable, and losing loved ones makes you appreciate every day as a special gift.

In September 2025, the rapper Drake denied rumors he’d had plastic surgery on his abs. He explained that fans thought they looked more defined because he’d used a photo editing app.
He explained on Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, Not This Again, that he’d just come from the gym when the photo was taken and was visibly sweaty. He thinks he might have also adjusted the photo’s colors, possibly increasing the saturation.
He added, “I think I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.”
While Drake noted that people go under the knife “all the time,” he isn’t one of them.
He added that people have been saying he had a Brazilian Butt Lift, and they’ve even nicknamed him ‘BBL Drizzy’.

The supermodel opened up about why she’s all about embracing her skin at every age.
In an August 2023 Instagram post, she shared a photo of her natural face, explaining she’s 58 years old and hasn’t had any fillers, Botox, or cosmetic surgery. She emphasized she’s chosen to age naturally without any facial enhancements.
Sometimes, I actually like seeing my face change with age. I feel like it shows I’ve lived a life, even if it’s not as conventionally ‘pretty’ as it once was. I think that’s a good exchange to make.

The Oscar winner revealed whether or not she’s gotten plastic surgery.
In an August 2023 interview with Allure, she discussed how her face is naturally changing with age, saying she embraces the process. She addressed rumors that she’d had a facelift, playfully responding to those who asked what she’d done by saying she’s simply getting older, and it’s not the result of plastic surgery.

Actress Brittany Snow, known for her role in Pitch Perfect, revealed in a 2023 interview with People magazine that she’s never had any cosmetic injections like Botox or fillers. She explained that she relies on her face for her work, but also emphasized that she doesn’t judge anyone who chooses to get them.
She added, “Basically I’m terrified of f–king it up.”

The actress from Magic Mike recently clarified that she has never had Botox. She stated it directly on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast.

Lana Del Rey addressed fan speculation about her nose, confirming she hasn’t had surgery after someone complimented its natural appearance.
In a September 2025 Instagram post, Lana shared that she’s never had surgery or been under anesthesia, marking her 15th consecutive year without it. She also mentioned that getting filler, like her doctor used to do – specifically to build up the bridge of the nose – can create a taller, smoother nose in just seven minutes, according to a screenshot captured by People magazine.
Lana mentioned a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, which involves using injectable fillers to reshape the nose, explains the Cleveland Clinic. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, it’s less invasive, but the effects are temporary, typically lasting around six months.

The supermodel, famous from the 1990s, filed a lawsuit in 2021 against Zeltiq Aesthetics, claiming that a fat-reduction treatment she received in 2015 and 2016 caused lasting damage to her appearance. They settled the case in 2022.

In January 2021, while pregnant, the model addressed fans’ comments on Instagram. Someone had suggested she stop getting lip injections, and she responded by explaining she’d never actually had them. She added that she wasn’t criticizing anyone who did, saying they looked great, but that lip injections aren’t safe during pregnancy.

Jennifer Lopez still maintains her natural appearance. She publicly stated on Instagram in January 2021 that she has never had Botox, fillers, or any cosmetic surgery.

The actress known for her role on Friends had surgery as a young woman to correct a deviated septum. However, she has publicly expressed her disapproval of Botox and other facial fillers.
Honestly, it’s just so obvious in Hollywood – everyone’s obsessed with looking forever young! I’ve seen so many actresses chasing that, and some of the things they do to themselves… it’s scary. I feel so lucky to be able to watch that happen and think, ‘No, thank you!’ I’m definitely not getting any injections or messing with my face like that. Learning from their choices is a gift, really.

The actress said she’s pretty much explored all options. While she’s currently hesitant about surgery, she’d be open to anything around age 50. She did try Botox once, but didn’t like the results, saying it made her look unnatural, as she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2013.

In a 2012 interview with InStyle magazine, actress and Charlie’s Angels star said, “I believe you shouldn’t struggle against things you can’t change. Instead, just keep moving forward and focus on what you can control.”
“The idea of not looking like myself scares me,” she added.

In a 2011 interview with The Telegraph, the Love Actually actress explained her frustration with societal pressures, saying, “I’m not trying to change myself. We live in a culture obsessed with youth, where everyone feels they need to look 30 even when they’re 60.”

The Academy Award-winning actress explained to MORE magazine in 2007 that cosmetic surgery simply wasn’t for her. She clarified she had no issue with others choosing to have procedures, saying, ‘Everyone should do what makes them happy.’ However, she personally preferred people noticing her natural features, even if they weren’t considered conventionally perfect. She’d rather someone comment on her nose, for example, than assume she was insecure enough to have it altered, because she wanted to be known for who she is, not for trying to hide from it.

Back in 2011, the singer told Harper’s Bazaar that she believed encouraging people to get plastic surgery because they feel insecure is much more damaging than someone creatively changing their body through things like tattoos or piercings.

Back in 2011, Kate Winslet, known for her role in Titanic, shared with The Telegraph that she’s against cosmetic surgery. She explained it clashes with her personal values, how she was raised, and her belief in the importance of natural beauty.
She firmly stated she wouldn’t give up. As an actress, she explained, she needed to preserve the natural expressions on her face.
