More details about Brandon Blackstock’s death are coming to light.
After the unfortunate demise of the talent manager, who had two children – River Rose (11) and Remington “Remy” Alexander (9), with his ex-wife Kelly Clarkson – at the age of 48, it was confirmed by Silver Bow County Coroner Dan Hollis to People magazine that the cause of death was due to complications from a melanoma diagnosis.
Brandon Blackstock tragically passed away at his home in Butte, Montana, on August 7th. He was surrounded by his loved ones and received hospice care during his final moments.
On August 7th, it was confirmed by a representative for Brandon that he had tragically passed away following a prolonged fight against an unnamed type of cancer. He was the father of Savannah Blackstock and Seth Blackstock, who were born from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth.
With deep regret, we announce that Brandon Blackstock has lost his battle with cancer, after fighting courageously for over three years. His representative shared the news in a statement to NBC News, adding that he passed away peacefully, with his loved ones by his side.
The representative went on to express their gratitude for your sympathies and requests that everyone honors the family’s need for privacy as they navigate through a challenging period.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my heartache – just hours before the heart-wrenching news broke about his passing, Kelly, who parted ways with Brandon in 2022, disclosed that he was unwell while announcing the delay of her August performances in Las Vegas for her residency.
In a recent Instagram post on August 6th, the voice coach expressed that usually, she prefers to keep her personal life confidential. However, due to her partner being unwell lately, she needs to focus all her attention on her children at this time.
She expressed, “I genuinely apologize to everyone who purchased tickets for the performances. Your patience, kindness, and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Before the recent update, Kelly chose to keep Brandon’s health story private, preferring to draw a line between her personal and work-related matters.
