Regé-Jean Page is ready to be the object of everyone’s desires once again.
The actor, known for his role in Bridgerton, is moving from the world of London’s upper class to the glamorous circles of Los Angeles with his new role in the upcoming erotic drama, Hancock Park.
Regé-Jean Page not only stars in the new Netflix series—he’s also a producer through his production company, A Misty Stranger. He plays a rich man in Los Angeles whose family is facing challenges to stay relevant in high society.
Netflix’s Tudum announced on December 2nd that Hancock Park is a suspenseful erotic thriller about a captivating stranger who disrupts the lives of a seemingly flawless Los Angeles family when he becomes their backyard guest.
Once the newcomer starts looking beneath the surface, he discovers the hidden flaws in this seemingly perfect world. The streaming service explains that he then uncovers the hidden desires, betrayals, and fixations that exist within one of Los Angeles’s most exclusive communities.
Regé-Jean Page is returning to Netflix after appearing in the 2022 film The Gray Man with Ryan Gosling, and previously gaining recognition for his role as Simon Bassett in the first season of Bridgerton.
Despite his character finding love with Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne Bridgerton, Regé-Jean Page didn’t come back for future seasons of the show – but there wasn’t any conflict surrounding his departure.
In a 2021 interview with Variety, he remembered telling Shondaland producers that he envisioned his involvement lasting just one season – a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end. He thought this approach – similar to a limited series – would allow him to make his contribution and then let the Bridgerton story continue with other characters.
He was pleased with how the Duke of Hastings’ story ended, but he’s still excited to see each of the Bridgerton siblings find their own happy ending.

He expressed great enthusiasm for the continued success of Bridgerton worldwide. However, he also believes it’s important to finish existing storylines well and provide satisfying conclusions.
And after the Black Bag actor bid farewell to the ton, he expressed his gratitude for the experience.
He wrote on Instagram in 2021 that being part of the show was ‘the ride of a lifetime.’ He expressed how much he enjoyed being ‘the Duke’ and felt lucky to be part of the cast and crew, whom he described as incredibly talented and kind. He also shared his gratitude for the amazing fans, saying the support he received was beyond anything he could have hoped for and would continue to grow.
While everyone anticipates seeing Regé-Jean on TV again, here’s a look at some other new shows that are coming soon.
