Brooklyn Beckham’s Wedding DJ Details “Awkward” Victoria Beckham Dance

DJ Fat Tony is sharing his POV on the Beckham Peltz wedding. 

Following claims by Brooklyn Peltz Beckham that his mother, Victoria Beckham, interrupted his first dance with Nicola Peltz Beckham at their 2022 wedding, the DJ who played at the event has spoken about what happened.

The musician confirmed what Brooklyn Peltz Beckham shared on Instagram on January 19th: Marc Anthony had invited “the most beautiful woman in the room” to dance on stage, but called out Victoria Beckham’s name instead of Nicola’s. DJ Fat Tony (Tony Marnoch) later told ITV on January 23rd that Brooklyn was very upset because he’d expected to have his first dance with his wife, and Nicola left the room in tears.

He explained that during the dance, Marc Anthony jokingly told someone to put their hands on their mother’s hips. It was a culturally specific moment, and the whole thing made everyone in the room feel uncomfortable.

TopMob News has reached out to the singer’s rep for comment and has not yet heard back.

Tony mentioned he’s catered many events for the Beckhams, describing them as a close and lively family who enjoy dancing. However, he emphasized that the most important factor is how Brooklyn felt about a particular situation. If Brooklyn was uncomfortable, then it was, indeed, inappropriate.

Tony performed several times during the three-day wedding celebration, including at the welcome party, the wedding ceremony, and the next-day brunch.

While there wasn’t a formal requirement, many people expected Nicola Peltz Beckham to wear a dress designed by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, at her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham. The wedding took place in April 2022 at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
