Atari and Fabraz have revealed that Bubsy 4D, a surprisingly real game, will be released soon.
The 3D platformer is coming to both PS5 and PS4 on 22nd May 2026, as revealed in this new trailer:
The game generated a lot of excitement when it was first announced last year, and now its release is just around the corner.
Bubsy 4D feels like a genuine effort to revitalize the series, offering players a lot of ways to move around and explore large, open levels.
You’ll continue to battle Woolies and gather yarn, but this installment appears to be a significantly better game than previous titles in the series.
Bubsy’s gameplay is a challenging platformer, but it’s presented with a bright, cartoon look and lots of jokes from the main character. Luckily, you can probably adjust how much talking there is if it gets annoying.
Anyway, it seems as though we might be in for a good Bubsy game when it shows up later in the year.
