Kim Kardashian isn’t dismissing her career plans anytime soon.
Just two weeks after announcing she hadn’t passed the California bar exam, the actress from All’s Fair shared that she had already begun studying for it again, even before receiving the official results.
Kim recently shared with journalist Martha Debayle that she sees discipline as a way of showing self-respect. In a November 19th interview with her co-star Niecy Nash, Kim explained that after finishing law school, she immediately began studying and writing essays at home. She enjoyed the structure and routine, and wanted to stay prepared in case she ever needed to retake the bar exam.
She remembered her mom, Kris Jenner, telling her to take a break from her studies, saying people would tell her, “Enough already! You’ve already taken it, stop studying, stop writing essays, just stop!”
For the 45-year-old, who is a mother to North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5) with her ex-husband Kanye West, making time for studying had become a regular part of her life.
I can at least manage this part of my life, I realized. Perhaps I’m a bit of a control freak, but I truly love my home and being there, regardless of anything else.
You know, I always tell people to trust the journey, and that’s exactly what my friend Kim did when she didn’t pass the California bar exam. It was a huge disappointment, of course, but she honestly saw it as a sign that the timing just wasn’t right. She believes everything happens for a reason, and she’s taking it as an opportunity to prepare even more and come back stronger. It’s a really inspiring way to look at setbacks, honestly.
She firmly stated she never gives up. She views setbacks as simply not being the right moment, and she’s at peace with that. She immediately recognized it as a valuable learning experience, motivating her to improve, work harder, and keep pursuing her goals.
But that doesn’t mean the Kardashians star didn’t have some negative feelings about her results.

While I’m definitely a little sad it didn’t turn out as I hoped, especially after putting in so much effort, I don’t dwell on disappointment. It’s just frustrating when you work really hard on something and don’t get the result you’re aiming for.
However, she emphasized that although it wasn’t her time to pass, “it will be soon.”
Kim knows that it’s all fair in becoming a lawyer, noting that she won’t be giving up anytime soon.
After six years of law school, she’s determined to pass the bar exam. In an Instagram post on November 8th, she shared that she’s committed to studying and won’t give up. She views coming close to passing as motivation, not a failure – it simply pushes her to work even harder.
As Kim looks to the future, keep reading for a look back at the reality star’s evolution.
