Camila Mendes is gearing up to walk down the aisle.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m absolutely losing it! Camila Mendes is ENGAGED! Can you believe it?! Apparently, she said yes to Rudy Mancuso – he proposed on October 24th, and her publicist just confirmed it to People magazine. I’ve been shipping them for ages, and I’m so incredibly happy for them both! Seriously, this is the best news ever!

The couple marked their relationship milestone with a party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. As they entered the hotel, Rudy, age 33, shared the news of their engagement with photographers and then kissed his fiancée.

Camila, 31, looked cheerful showing off her engagement ring – a large diamond on a delicate silver band. She paired her outfit with a navy cropped vest and matching track pants, completing the look with open-toe heels. Rudy wore a white tank top under a roomy beige jacket and black high-waisted pants.

The actress started seeing Rudy in July 2022 and publicly acknowledged their relationship four months later by posting a photo of him kissing her, though she didn’t mention him directly in the post.

By January 2023, Camila was clearly falling for someone new, after previously being linked to her Riverdale co-star, Charles Melton. She described being in the exciting early stages of the relationship, but emphasized that it felt different and more special than anything she’d experienced before.

She explained on the Going Mental podcast that she was trying to stay calm and not overshare. She said she felt like she’d known him forever, which was a completely new feeling for her.

Camila and Rudy later starred together in the 2024 romantic comedy Música, which Rudy also wrote and directed. From the beginning, it was obvious that Camila was perfectly suited for the film.

He explained to Us Weekly in April 2024 that he was interested in seeing another side of her personality. He said that from the moment they met—which happened while working on a project together—she seemed perfect for him.
