Cardi B is leveling up.
The rapper, known as “Money Bag,” revealed that her split from her husband, Offset, after seven years of marriage and a 2024 divorce filing, led to significant personal growth.
During an appearance on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast on March 31st, she explained that she feels completely transformed over the past year. She’s not sure what caused the change – whether it was her divorce or simply a newfound awakening – but she’s confident she’s a different person now.
Because she’s raising seven-year-old Kulture, four-year-old Wave, 18-month-old Blossom, and a four-month-old son with Stefon Diggs, as well as sharing children with her ex, Migos member Quavo, the founder of Grow-Good Beauty was determined to focus on her career and build a successful business, looking to other celebrities for inspiration.
Many successful artists and celebrities didn’t establish their brands immediately after becoming famous. They typically built them after being in the industry for seven to ten years, and I believe now is the ideal time for me to do the same.
Cardi B explained that turning 33 feels significant to her, like a turning point. She described it as a time blessed by both her Christian faith and her spiritual traditions, feeling as though she’s been given a message to seize the moment and make the most of the opportunities before her.

The Grammy-winning artist, who once started divorce proceedings from Offset in 2020 but later dropped the case, recently shared details about the difficulties in their relationship. She hopes they can find a way to co-parent more healthily.
Cardi B recently told Gayle King on CBS Mornings that she and her partner should be able to co-parent effectively – discussing their children’s lives, sharing updates like report cards, and celebrating milestones together. However, she emphasized that their ability to do so isn’t the main issue at hand.
She sighed, saying, “I wish he would change, but there’s nothing I can do about it now. Just try to be a good role model for your children.”
As Cardi B and Offset raise their children together, here’s a look at some other celebrity exes who’ve managed to stay friendly after their split…

They are definitely not getting back together. However, with all the recent interactions – birthday celebrations, affectionate hugs, and even playfully acting out a romantic scene in a virtual reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High – it feels like they’re just teasing everyone who hoped they’d reconcile.

Sarah proved she’s confident and playful when she appeared on her ex-husband Jimmy’s talk show. She was there to promote her new series, I Love You, America, and playfully teased him about his wife, Molly Kimmel, describing her as “cute,” “bright,” and “funny.” Jokingly, Sarah complained, “It’s not fair! She gets the updated, more aware Jimmy. I only got the ‘Man Show’ Jimmy.”

Honestly, it seems like some people are still more affected by this relationship than those who were directly involved. When Anna—who is now married to Michael Barrett—learned that Pratt was going to marry Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, she volunteered to perform the wedding ceremony. She even sent a gift when their daughter, Lyla, was born in August 2020. A source told TopMob News that Anna was “very supportive” and excited for her son, Jack, to have a little sister.

Their breakup could have easily led to disaster, but four years later, these HGTV stars are thriving. They’re successfully co-parenting their children, Taylor and Brayden, and continuing to renovate dilapidated houses into beautiful homes for others.

Lenny Kravitz and his ex-wife, actress Zoë Kravitz’s mother, still feel incredibly close – he described them as “best friends” in a 2013 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Despite their divorce and her subsequent marriage to and split from Jason Momoa in 2020, they maintain a strong family bond. Lenny calls it a “beautiful” example of how things can work out positively, even after separation.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the story of the Dancing With the Stars co-host and her ex-husband, the former hockey player, and it’s been lovely to see how well they’ve navigated their split since 2020. They’ve consistently shown everyone they remain friendly and supportive of each other, which is always great to see!
When Brooks announced he was getting married to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir in December 2024, Julianne shared her excitement online. She posted on Instagram, wishing them both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and fun as they start this new chapter together.
Several months later, the dancer, her ex-husband, and his pregnant fiancée spent the day together at the lake. She shared a photo of the four of them with a caption calling them ‘these three cuties’ and describing it as a special day.

After separating in 2015, the parents of Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel have successfully co-parented, managing to share vacations, holidays, and publicly praise each other. Ben even called his ex-partner “an amazing mother” in a 2016 interview with TopMob News.

I was really surprised when Nina and Ian broke up back in 2013, especially after being together for three years, but I’ve always admired how they managed to stay friends. Then, in 2014, Nina started dating Nikki Reed, and they got married so quickly! It was nice to see Nina and Nikki become friends too – they seemed to genuinely connect.

The couple ended their five-year relationship in July 2016. The singer later shared on The Howard Stern Show in October that she remained very close to her ex, describing him as both a former lover and a long-time friend.
“We love each other,” she said. “That’s it.”

Even years after The Office ended in 2013, the chemistry between its stars remained obvious, and Mindy Kaling understands why fans still hope they’d get together. She admitted to Good Housekeeping in 2019 that she’d feel the same way if she were an outside observer, especially considering she chose him to be a godfather to her children. However, she clarified that their relationship has evolved into something even deeper than friendship – they’re now like family.

After their divorce was finalized in 2011, the former couple easily continued to raise their son, Bronx. The Fall Out Boy singer has praised his ex-wife, calling her a fantastic mother.

It sounds like she’s moved on from their previous relationship. The musician has stated he and his ex are still on good terms and remain friendly. He described their connection as a positive one.

Jennifer and her Dexter co-star first met while working on the show in 2006, and their relationship became romantic two years later. Even after their divorce in 2011, Jennifer has said they remained friendly and respectful towards each other.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are famously friendly exes, and their commitment to co-parenting daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout is clear. It’s no surprise they decided to quarantine together in Idaho when the pandemic hit – maybe they even had a dance party!

Four years after her 2014 divorce, Jennifer Lopez still spoke highly of her ex-husband, and the father of her twins, Max and Emme. In a 2018 interview on Sunday Today, she explained that Marc Anthony had been a significant source of confidence during their marriage. He recognized her insecurities and constantly affirmed her talent, telling her she was a great singer and encouraging her to believe in herself. Lopez expressed deep respect for him, considering him one of the greatest singers ever.

Despite any personal struggles, the actress remains supportive of her ex-husband and former Scream colleague. Eight years after their 2010 divorce, she said on Running Wild With Bear Grylls that it was a relatively amicable split. They’ve successfully co-parented their daughter, Coco, and maintain a good relationship.

Although their relationship ended in 2007, they still had great chemistry on screen when they starred in the 2011 film Bad Teacher.

Although their 2013 breakup was difficult at first, the actors have reached a point where they can vacation together as a group. The actor shared with LaPalme Magazine that he gets along well with his ex-wife’s husband, and that a 2017 trip to Cancun with her husband, Garth, as well as Dave Abrams, Peter’s fiancée Lily Anne Harrison, and their daughters Luca, Lola, and Fiona, was enjoyable. He also explained that relationships evolve and that even though they’re no longer together, he still cares for his ex-wife, stating, “People come into your life for a reason and relationships can change. Just because we aren’t living together doesn’t mean you can’t love each other.”

Even though they unexpectedly separated in September 2012, the couple made an effort to appear supportive of each other for the sake of their children. In a 2014 interview with Howard Stern, she explained that she and Will remained close friends and were successfully co-parenting. She didn’t view their ten-year marriage as a failure, believing that all relationships face challenges.

The Grammy-winning artist and her ex-husband, who officially divorced in January 2024, have maintained a friendly relationship while raising their son, Hayes. They even live just five minutes apart, making it easy to share parenting responsibilities.
“Our stops are really easy,” Maren told The Zoe Report in May 2025, “and we’ll have family dinners.”
