Cardi B Slams Offset’s Joke About Her, Stefon Diggs’ Baby

Following the announcement that rapper Cardi B and her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, had a baby, Offset—who already has three children (Kulture, 8, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 1) with Cardi—made a playful comment on Instagram. According to Complex, he posted a Story on November 15th saying, “My kid lol,” before quickly deleting it.

Okay, so Offset didn’t say anything about Cardi B in his recent post, but let me tell you, she definitely responded! She went on X – formerly Twitter – and shared a bunch of posts, though she’s since taken them down. It was a whole moment, and honestly, a pretty typical way to handle things publicly these days.

Cardi B responded to an Instagram Story posted by her ex, explaining that she doesn’t find the situation amusing. She revealed she’s been harassed and threatened for over a year, to the point where she fears for her safety. She announced her pregnancy in September.

The Grammy-winning artist spoke about her split from her rapper partner in July 2024, saying, “It seemed good at the time, but things changed.”

She said people will do anything for attention, and even a single post could cause serious problems. She then pleaded to be left alone.

Offset shared a puzzling message shortly after Cardi B announced on November 13th that she and her partner had recently welcomed their son.

Cardi B announced the release of her new music and album on Instagram. She also shared the joy of welcoming a new baby, explaining that this new addition motivates her to be her best self and to dedicate all her love and energy to her children, ensuring they have everything they need.

Cardi B has mentioned enjoying messages from former partners hoping to reconcile, but a reunion with Offset seems very unlikely.

Offset, 33, recently told the Associated Press on August 16th that he considers the past situation finished. He believes neither he nor the other person involved should continue discussing it, stating it’s a chapter that’s been closed.

He explained that he finished the album with a message of positivity, wanting to move past that period of his life and consider it complete.

Just like Cardi, who is also 33, she isn’t letting anything from her past affect her relationship with the football player from the New England Patriots.

The rapper, who was linked to Stefon earlier this year, said on the Today show on September 16th that he would marry again. He explained that he’s a firm believer in love and considers himself a hopeless romantic.

Of course, the “Bodak Yellow” singer is well aware that she can’t completely bury her history. 

I’m a very dedicated mother, and people understand that means I’m always prepared for anything. I always have everything I need with me – bags, books, and all the essentials.”

Obviously, none of it has been too much for the NFL wide receiver to carry. 

Cardi B shared her excitement after revealing she’s expecting, saying she feels good and that she and her partner are very supportive of each other. She also noted they’re both at a similar point in their careers and confident in their abilities.

Indeed, Cardi is certainly up with Stefon by her side.

However, Cardi quickly reassured fans that things were fine by sharing a video of a Patek Philippe watch Stefon had gifted her. In an August 2025 TikTok, she explained, “He got it for me at London Jewelers. I went to meet him there thinking he was buying himself a watch, but he surprised me with one for me!”

Rumors started circulating weeks later that Cardi B might be expecting another child. When someone directly asked her about the baby’s father, she quickly shut down the question.
