Doctor Who fan-favourite stories to get new Target novelisations – with series icons reading audiobooks

One of the upcoming novels will be based on the season one episode “Aliens of London,” which first aired in 2005. This two-part story introduced viewers to the Slitheen aliens and starred Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. While originally written by Russell T Davies, the final script for the episode (which continued in “World War Three”) was penned by Joseph Lidster.

Okay, so Luke Thompson just had to recreate that iconic scene! You know, the one with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy coming out of the lake in the ’95 Pride and Prejudice? Seriously, a lake, a completely drenched shirt, and someone spying from the trees… it’s a total nod to that moment, and they didn’t even try to hide it! As a fan, it was amazing to see.
