Let’s talk about some Marvel villains who actually deserve a chance to be heroes. We’ll be looking at seven characters who either have a good side to them, have previously teamed up with the good guys, or would simply be fascinating if they switched to saving the world instead of threatening it. We’re defining ‘deserve’ as either having hidden goodness or possessing the potential to be a compelling hero, even if it’s a surprising change for them. So, let’s dive in and consider these Marvel villains.

This week, Nintendo Switch Online added games from the Virtual Boy, a system released by Nintendo in 1995 that wasn’t very successful. Though it failed commercially, a few Virtual Boy games became popular and are still enjoyed by fans today. Nintendo is currently offering seven of these games on Switch Online, and they plan to add more throughout 2026.

She spent her childhood learning from her loving father, a time tragically cut short when a mysterious force tore them apart. Haunted by the memory of that loss, she’s driven to resist the darkness and believes the power of Light will shield her from corruption.

Bell will be the voice of Amy Rose, a cheerful hedgehog who really likes Sonic – sometimes to a funny, over-the-top degree, which often leads to amusing interactions between them. She appeared briefly at the end of Sonic 3, saving Sonic from robotic duplicates of Metal Sonic, continuing the movie’s habit of revealing new characters during the credits.

Checking out games in Early Access is a great way to play upcoming titles before they’re fully released. The 2025 Game of the Year nominee, Hades 2, actually started as an Early Access game, and I highly recommend trying both the early and final versions. If you’re interested in promising new games launching in Early Access in 2026, I’ve compiled a list of projects I’m excited about. I’ve included a variety of genres, so hopefully there’s something for everyone.

Everyone agrees that SG-1 is a classic, and it’s great that it’s now on Netflix. However, even dedicated fans will admit the show wasn’t always perfect. Some seasons were fantastic, while others were more hit-or-miss. We’ve ranked all ten seasons of SG-1, from simply good to truly outstanding, and fans still debate which ones are the best!

Over the past year and a half with Absolute Batman, we’ve met many of Batman’s villains, and they’re almost never what they seem. Just think about how shocking the Joker’s true nature was – it took a whole year to uncover! I suspected Absolute Poison Ivy was hiding something, and I was right. The comic doesn’t fully capture how different and terrifying her new powers and true form are.

Superman and Batman are DC’s iconic duo, and their adventures span countless universes. This comic takes us to Earth-3, a world where heroes are the villains. While Earth-3 is usually ruled by the Crime Syndicate, this story focuses on a time before the team existed, highlighting just Ultraman and Owlman. It’s a surprisingly fresh concept that’s a bit of a mystery why it hasn’t been explored sooner. Seeing Ultraman and Owlman – along with Superwoman – before they’ve built their team and established their power is a fantastic idea, and the writer, Waid, executes it brilliantly.

Dethklok, the band from the show Metalocalypse, is hitting the road again this year! Creator Brendon Small will be performing the show’s most popular songs. The “Amonklok Tour” kicks off April 15th in Phoenix, Arizona, and will travel across North America. They’ll be joined by the iconic heavy metal band Amon Amarth, playing shows throughout the western United States. Due to popular demand, more dates have been added to the tour, with confirmed shows now including Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and San Diego. The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 could be ideal for a detailed Mario strategy game, largely because of its mouse support. While strategy games are traditionally played on computers with a mouse, the Switch’s Joy-Cons offer this functionality to console gamers for the first time. A strategy game starring Mario is something Nintendo hasn’t tried before, and a real-time strategy game set in the Mushroom Kingdom or a city-building game where Princess Peach leads the charge would be a bold new direction for the company and give fans a fresh way to play.
