While Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to PlayStation, a release date hasn’t been announced yet. The game’s expansive open-world areas put a strain on the PS5, causing some visual quality issues at launch. However, game director Naoki Hamaguchi assures players there’s no reason to be concerned.
Al Jean, the current showrunner of The Simpsons (a role he’s held since Season 13), announced on social media that the next episode will be his last in that position. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the show, as a new showrunner will be taking over – though their identity hasn’t been revealed yet. Matt Selman, who has been a co-showrunner for several seasons, is a potential candidate. However, Jean clarified that he won’t be leaving the series entirely.

Bethesda made a huge world, but they forgot to actually fill it with anything interesting.
Being a supervillain is tough, and it often ends in death. Many villains have died to make room for new ones, allowing fresh faces to take over their roles. These villains are truly gone – their criminal careers and lives have ended permanently, and they’re not expected to return.
The new series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, takes place roughly 90 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Though set quite some time in the past, the show will include some characters from the original series, either through cameos or mentions. One notable example is Walder Frey, a key figure behind the Red Wedding, who appears as a child at a wedding in the third story, The Mystery Knight. In an interview with Polygon, the showrunner, Ira Parker, shared an idea for how they plan to include him in the series.
The PC game Look Outside, which came out on Steam in March, combines traditional JRPG battles with the unsettling atmosphere of survival horror. The game traps you in an apartment building where looking out the windows turns people into monsters. You’ll need to carefully manage limited resources while trying to survive amongst the building’s creepy inhabitants. A major update, version 2.0, launched on October 28th, making the game even more immersive.
The upcoming series, The Future is Ours, will consist of eight episodes. Set in South America in 2047, the show takes place after an environmental disaster has led to the formation of FedSur – a group of South American nations using strict methods to safeguard the environment and control social issues. The story centers on Hugo Crussí, a police officer who discovers Jonás Flores, a young preacher with the ability to predict the future, who quickly gains a following as a spiritual leader. Crussí later joins the resistance and becomes a target himself.
The latest installment in the Ninja Gaiden series, developed with help from the teams behind popular games like Bayonetta, Vanquish, and NieR: Automata (PlatinumGames), offers a slightly different gameplay experience than previous titles.
