I recently read an interview with the folks behind the game – producer Naoto Oyama and director Cho Yonghee – and they explained why they’re letting players try out a demo now. It’s mostly about making sure the game runs smoothly on a ton of different computers, and they’re even testing how well mouse and keyboard controls work. They said it’s a tough job because everyone has different setups, but their main goal is a stable frame rate. They really want the game to feel good to play, even if that means they have to tone down some of the graphics a bit. They prioritized comfort over flashy visuals, which I think is awesome!

The movie Call of the Wild is currently the eighth most popular film on Netflix worldwide. Between December 1st and 7th, it was viewed 3.8 million times, just ahead of Frankenstein. Viewers watched a total of 6.4 million hours of Call of the Wild during that week, marking its first time appearing in Netflix’s top 10.

While you can only find Pennywise the dancing clown in one TV show, there are still many other horror series that offer a similar experience to IT: Welcome to Derry. The biggest drawback is that most of these shows don’t have many episodes, with the longest running for only 24. In the latest issue of Venom (#252), MJ joins forces with Venom, along with the new symbiote pair Rick Jones and Toxin, and Agent Anti-Venom, Flash Thompson. After months of working together to protect Venom and Dylan, Flash and MJ have become close, and Venom is encouraging them to become a couple. While their connection fits the storyline, MJ is already dealing with a lot and a romantic relationship is the last thing she needs right now.

The Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB) has responded strongly to the claims. In a statement to several news sources, including Eurogamer, the union said the company’s explanation for the firings is full of inaccuracies and misleading information. They point out the company has offered several different, and contradictory, reasons for letting the workers go, suggesting they are trying to justify the dismissals after the fact.

Look, as a gamer, what I took away from what they said is they really want us to be happy and feel like we’re getting our money’s worth. They’re promising to actually listen to what players are saying and use that feedback to make the game better. That’s awesome to hear!

Matt Booty, head of gaming at Microsoft, recently told Variety that they have a huge amount of content planned for release next year. He explained that their annual Dev Direct showcase usually focuses on the year ahead, and this year they have so much to share, it won’t all fit into a single presentation.
