After reprising his iconic roles as Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Rick Deckard in Blade Runner 2049 (2017), Harrison Ford took on his first animated role as Rooster, a cantankerous farm dog, in The Secret Life of Pets 2. The Illumination film became available on Tubi’s free streaming service on December 1st. The movie continues the story several years after the original, following Max, a popular house dog, as he navigates new experiences like a baby sibling and life on a farm.

According to FlixPatrol, which tracks how popular movies and shows are on streaming services, Red One is currently a hit on Prime Video. It’s currently No. 4 on Prime’s most-watched list, behind She Rides Shotgun, Oh. What. Fun. (a new Christmas movie hoping to become a holiday favorite), and Tell Me Softly.

Okay, so I just got the scoop on the Street Fighter movie, and honestly, I’m intrigued. They’ve cast Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, which is…a choice! As a huge fan, I have to say MAPPA really knocked it out of the park with the Chainsaw Man movie! It starts off feeling really relaxed and fun, like a typical slice-of-life romance, but then builds to what is honestly the most incredible animation I’ve ever seen from them. It’s been out for streaming since December 9th, and the fanbase has been going wild, picking up on all sorts of little details. One thing a lot of people missed in theaters – and it’s so clever – is a subtle countdown sequence right before Denji and Reze’s big fight. It’s a brilliant way to build tension!

I’m really looking forward to the next seasons of those shows, but it feels like a long wait! I’ve been trying to find something to fill the gap, and while rewatching Yellowstone is tempting, I wanted to see what else was out there. I was excited to see Netflix, as they wrap up Stranger Things, really getting into Westerns. I started watching The Abandons, a new drama, and I’m hooked! It’s actually doing really well – it’s currently number four on Netflix’s Global Top 10, right after the first season of Stranger Things.
