The movie Superman revealed that Kal-El isn’t the only survivor from Krypton. The film ends by introducing his cousin, Supergirl, played by Milly Alcock. She arrives to pick up her dog, Krypto, whom Superman had been caring for. Given that the film suggests Kryptonians aren’t entirely good, this raises questions about Supergirl’s intentions and whether Superman’s parents truly represent the values of all Kryptonians.

The fourteenth season of King of the Hill showed fans what happened to the characters years later, but some familiar faces haven’t reappeared. As a long-time fan, I’m always excited when a series I love gets a fresh start. It’s especially great for those that have been quiet for a while or just haven’t hit the mark recently. Honestly, a big change – like switching up the genre or completely rethinking the story – can make familiar worlds and characters feel brand new. Think about it: a game focused on fighting could become a really compelling story, a puzzle game could open up into a huge adventure, and even older, straightforward games could be amazing with modern storytelling techniques and better character development. With the power of today’s consoles and what we expect from games now, I genuinely think these four games could really benefit from a reboot in the style of the new God of War.

When Doctor Who first aired in 1963, William Hartnell, as the First Doctor, brought his initial companions – teachers Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton – inside the TARDIS. The original idea was for the TARDIS to disguise itself by changing its appearance to match its surroundings using a ‘chameleon circuit’. However, creating a different exterior for the TARDIS each time became too expensive. So, the writers decided the circuit was broken and couldn’t be fixed. It wasn’t until 50 years later that the show provided a story within the show explaining how the chameleon circuit failed, resulting in the TARDIS’s famous blue police box design.

The X-Men comics have always had compelling villains, and that really paid off during the recent ‘Krakoa Era.’ While familiar faces like Apocalypse and Mystique played key roles in building the mutant nation, one villain particularly shone: Exodus. He’d always been a powerful enemy of the X-Men, but this era allowed readers to see much more of his character, and the result was fantastic. Exodus has had a really well-developed story arc, and fans are eager to see more of him in future comics.
