Genco Inc. is creating a new animated series based on the sci-fi classic, Please Teacher!. They’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign in Japan aiming to raise 25 million yen (approximately $160 million USD) by late March of next year. While details are currently limited, this project is described as a reboot of the Please series. It’s a slightly unusual reboot, but fans should stay tuned for more information.

Blumhouse and NBCUniversal are trying to revive the Exorcist franchise. While the original 1973 film remains a landmark achievement in horror, expertly combining technical skill with compelling themes, the sequels haven’t lived up to its standard, particularly in recent years. Now, horror director Mike Flanagan, known for acclaimed series like The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, is taking on the challenge of breathing new life into the series, but it won’t be easy.
As a huge movie fan, I’m still really excited about the Blade reboot, and I’m so glad Mahershala Ali is still on board to play the Daywalker! But something else that has me hyped is Mia Goth. She’s become a real scream queen with the X movies and now Frankenstein, and she signed on to Blade way back in April 2023. Apparently, like the rest of the cast and crew, she’s in the dark about what’s happening with the project now, but she did hint at a really interesting idea they were exploring – it’s a shame to hear that might not be happening anymore!

I’m absolutely blown away by the latest updates on Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo! We always knew Yuji was a legend, but this takes it to a whole new level.
