Past Marvel Cinematic Universe films suggest the Multiverse Saga will end with a huge, thrilling climax. The previous major storyline, the Infinity Saga, concluded with the unforgettable and devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, where many heroes perished. While Avengers: Doomsday probably won’t have quite as many deaths, it seems likely someone important will die as this final saga begins, and several characters are already considered to be at risk.

A new anime image shows characters Maomao and Jinshi dressed as Shinigami, or death gods, for a Halloween special. Death gods are a common figure in anime, appearing in series like Bleach, Death Note, Death Parade, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Black Butler. While it’s unlikely the upcoming third season and movie of The Apothecary Diaries will focus on supernatural themes, Maomao and Jinshi definitely look great in the costumes! I don’t usually love extraction shooter games, but I was completely hooked by Embark Studios’ new release, ARC Raiders. Even with major games like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 coming out around the same time – which feels like a repeat of the difficulties Titanfall 2 faced – I can confidently say: you should definitely give ARC Raiders a try.

The next Scream movie, officially announced as Scream 6, playfully mocks a common Hollywood practice with its title. A recent casting call revealed the movie will be filmed in November 2025 and is being stylized as Scary MoVIe. As a Pokémon TCG fan, I was really excited to see the new retailer promo cards for the upcoming Phantasmal Flames set! This set is the second in the Mega Evolution line, following the first one that came out in late September – and that one sold out super fast, as usual. It’s awesome that they’re bringing Mega Evolution back to the cards alongside its return in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It looks like Phantasmal Flames is going to be huge, with these free promo cards promising another quick sell-out at launch!

As a huge Doctor Who fan, I was really surprised to hear Disney pulled the plug on the show. Apparently, according to sources who know what’s going on, there were a couple of big issues. One of them, surprisingly, wasn’t the initial reaction to Ncuti Gatwa’s casting. It wasn’t about his performance at all, but more about what the role requires beyond acting. They said you really have to become the face of the show, and truly be that generation’s Doctor – something Matt Smith and David Tennant just naturally did. The source hinted that Ncuti didn’t fully step into that ambassador role and wasn’t actively promoting the show as much as they needed him to.

The Teen Titans have always brought together some of the best young heroes, and the team has experienced periods of both success and struggle. Their most popular run came with the New Teen Titans comic book, created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, which became a huge bestseller in the 1980s. The team’s popularity has varied over time, and currently, the Teen Titans are no longer active. Though many fans miss them, I believe disbanding the team is ultimately a positive development for the DC Universe.
