Since its debut in 1983, “A Christmas Story” has graced numerous screens during December, yet it surprises many to learn that several sequels have been produced based on this cherished holiday movie. Directed by Bob Clark, the film revolves around Ralphie Parker, a nine-year-old boy who spent Christmas longing for a Red Ryder Range 200-Shot BB Gun. Peter Billingsley played the young Ralphie, while Jean Shepherd provided the voice for the adult version of the character. “A Christmas Story” is renowned as one of the most adored holiday films in existence.

Despite Green Lantern being one of DC’s notable disappointments more than a decade back, there’s a chance for a comeback with HBO’s upcoming DCU series. Fans will recall that Ryan Reynolds played the title character in the 2011 film, and with the universe getting a fresh start under James Gunn, the Co-CEO of DC Studios, he playfully reached out to Reynolds. In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he shared that Reynolds was among the first people he contacted about rejoining the universe. During the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters later this month, enthusiasts of the Sega series might want to stay seated until the very end of the credits. As per a Collider report, Paramount has revealed at CCXP that the movie will feature several post-credit scenes. At present, the number of these scenes is unknown, but they are expected to stretch till the last moment. The inclusion of post-credit scenes isn’t particularly shocking, as director Jeff Fowler mentioned to Entertainment Weekly last month that Sonic 3 would be introducing new characters, similar to what we witnessed with the first two films.

The television series “The Big Bang Theory” was CBS’s most popular sitcom and even held the title of the most-watched show in the U.S. with its finale in 2019. Given this popularity, it was only natural for a spin-off like “Young Sheldon” to emerge, delving into the background of Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons), a character cherished by fans. Since its debut, the new series has thrived, spanning seven seasons so far, attempting to adhere to the insights about Sheldon’s past that “The Big Bang Theory” had already provided. Although it may have introduced a few discrepancies, it has at least made efforts to clarify them.

The prospect of Captain Planet gracing cinema screens appears to be delayed further, as actor Glen Powell, who was earlier announced as the lead in a film adaptation based on the 1990s TBS animated series “Captain Planet and the Planeteers,” has revealed that the owners of the Captain Planet property are currently pursuing different concepts and strategies. Consequently, it might take some time before the eco-friendly superhero can join his fellow heroes on the big screen.
