Critically Acclaimed Narrative Game 1000xRESIST Tells Its Tale on PS5

The multi-award-winning narrative adventure 1000xRESIST will release on PS5 from 4th November.

This popular sci-fi game won many awards after its release on Switch and PC last year, and now it’s coming to PlayStation, bringing its story to even more players.

This is how the story is introduced, and it’s often considered one of the greatest narratives ever created for a video game.

In the year 3023, you play as Iris, a Watcher, in a world on the brink of humanity’s extinction. A devastating alien race, known as the Occupants, has arrived, bringing a deadly disease that has nearly wiped out everyone. Those who remain have gone underground and now live under the rule of a powerful being called the ALLMOTHER.

I’m totally hooked on this story! It centers around Iris, and she’s one of six ‘Sisters,’ each with a special job. Iris is a ‘Watcher,’ which means she gets to see *everything* from the ALLMOTHER’s memories – even the awful story of how humanity ended. But things get crazy when another Sister finds out the ALLMOTHER isn’t telling the truth and gets punished for it. Now Iris is questioning everything she believes and has to fight to find out what *really* happened.

I recently checked out what Nintendo Life had to say about this game again, and they still think it’s amazing! They gave it a 9 out of 10 and called it a really important and creative piece of art – a great example of what indie developers can achieve.

You’re probably going to want to slap this one on your wishlist, then.
