Starting October 1st, you can now watch Brad Silberling’s popular 1995 film Casper on Netflix. The movie is based on the Harvey Comics character Casper the Friendly Ghost and tells the story of Casper, voiced by Malachi Pearson, a kind ghost who lives in Whipstaff Manor and wishes he could make a friend, but usually ends up frightening everyone. Everything changes when a teenage girl named Kat and her father, a therapist who studies paranormal activity, move in. The film, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, features Christina Ricci, Bill Pullman, Cathy Moriarty, and Eric Idle. The voice cast includes performances by Joe Nipote, Joe Alaskey, and Brad Garrett.

PlayStation recently announced that SoulCalibur 3 is getting a new release on both PS5 and PS4. Originally launched in October 2005, the third main game in the SoulCalibur series was only available on the PlayStation 2. A slightly different version of SoulCalibur 3 did appear in arcades in 2006, but this PS2 version remains the only one ever released for home consoles or PC. Currently, there aren’t many details about when this SoulCalibur 3 port will be available on PS5 and PS4, however PlayStation has stated it will be released sometime before the end of 2025. Furthermore, it will be added to the PlayStation Plus Classics library when it launches.

I was reading an interview with Variety, and Supergirl writer Ana Nogueira shared what finally helped her figure out the movie’s story.
