Fortunately, several major games launching in September 2025 will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro, including popular titles like *EA Sports FC 26*, *NHL 26*, *Hell Is Us*, and *NBA 2K26*. However, if you don’t enjoy sports games, there aren’t many options currently announced. More significantly, the number of games *not* receiving PS5 Pro enhancements is much larger. While this could change, there’s no indication these games will be updated for the new console yet. It’s common for developers to add support after a game’s release, as seen with last year’s PS5 exclusive, *Silent Hill 2 Remake*, but that can take several months. PS5 Pro owners might want to wait before playing certain games, hoping for future updates.

Tron: Ares is predicted to make around $44 million in its first weekend in the US, according to Deadline. This is nearly the same amount as the original Tron: Legacy earned when it came out in 2010 (just over $44 million), potentially making Ares have the biggest opening weekend of any film in the Tron series. This came up while talking about games being released on PC, although a *Bloodborne* remake would likely come to both PC and PS5. Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming reports that the next *God of War* game will feature Kratos wielding an Egyptian sword. While the specific type isn’t known, it’s described as being similar to swords used in *Prince of Persia*, potentially a khopesh or sickle sword. Henderson mentioned this briefly in a podcast, stating it will be Kratos’ primary weapon.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds includes characters from across the Sonic world, but it’s also exciting because it features racers from other games. We already knew characters from Minecraft and SpongeBob SquarePants would be included. As a big Borderlands fan, I was a little worried to hear about performance issues, and it seems Digital Foundry’s testing confirmed them. Basically, the longer you play Borderlands 4 – they’re seeing problems after about an hour – the more the frame rate drops. This is happening on all platforms right now, and it’s definitely noticeable in Performance Mode. They aren’t sure yet, but it sounds like Quality Mode might start to suffer the same way if you play for a really long time too.

It’s a game where you play as part of different graffiti crews, all trying to figure out this thing called the Hyper – basically, it’s like an online world within the game. And if you loved the look of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, you’ll probably dig this too – the art style is super similar to Jet Set Radio. Plus, you get to choose how you get around: skateboards, BMX bikes, rollerblades… it looks like a ton of fun!
