James Gunn recently discussed the progress of *The Brave and the Bold* script on the *The Ringer-Verse* podcast, stating that while work continues, it isn’t complete. He also talked about potential Batman actors, confirming he has a list of favorites. He explained that, like with Superman, his initial choices don’t necessarily get the role, and a full audition process is still needed. While he wouldn’t rule out casting a major star without an audition, he suggested it’s unlikely.
