Konami is bringing back two classic dating sim visual novels, *The Prince of Tennis: Sweet School Festival* and *The Prince of Tennis: Doki Doki Survival*, with remastered versions for modern platforms. These updated games, originally released on PlayStation 2, will be available on Switch 2, Switch, and PC through Steam. Please note that both titles will only be available in Japanese.
Here is an overview of the games, via their Steam pages:
These are updated releases of the romantic visual novels *The Prince of Tennis: Gakuensai no Ouji-sama* and *The Prince of Tennis: Doki Doki Survival*.
The video game *The Prince of Tennis: Gakuensai no Ouji-sama* was originally released for PlayStation 2 in December 2005. A sequel, *The Prince of Tennis: Motto Gakuensai no Ouji-sama*, followed in February 2010 for the Nintendo DS.
The first *Prince of Tennis: Doki Doki Survival* game, *Sanroku no Mystic*, was released on PlayStation 2 in December 2006. It was followed by *Umibe no Secret* in January 2007, and then a compilation called *Gyutto! Doki Doki Survival – Umi to Yama no Love Passion* for the DS in July 2011.
Twenty years after they first came out, the remastered versions of these popular games are finally being released.
Finally, you can experience romantic stories with characters you love from *The Prince of Tennis* in these visual novels.
The characters you can romance and all the spoken dialogue are still the same, but this updated version includes newly drawn images. You can choose to view either the original images for a classic feel or the new ones to see your favorite characters in a fresh way.
We’ll share more information soon, including when it will be released, what it offers, and a first look at its new images.
